Summbitch. I forgot I'd pre-ordered a backup of Shuma on Pulse, and just found out because they shipped him. Gonna have to return the one from Amazon that totally isn't the one from Pulse.

You guys don't obsessively track all of your preorders and purchases in a spreadsheet, to such a minute level of detail that it feels like managing Excel is your REAL hobby? Weird.
I've typically got a really good memory. I remember shit I shouldn't remember. Spaced this, though.

I spaced on a Born Again Daredevil. Got the two I wanted at Target, and remembered to cancel my Amazon PO, but forgot I had a PO at Pulse. I think I can return this one at Target, but I think I scored the ones I got there with a sale price, so I'd lose that.

I have a text document that has the ship dates, item names, and prices on them, and it’s sorted by where I have them pre-ordered.

So, one step away from using actual excel I guess. 🤣

Bro seriously just use the Shopify app. It monitors all of your incoming deliveries once you sync up all of your email addresses and street address assigned to your various orders. It’s been a lifesaver for me. I can even track medications that I ordered and I did t order those through a Shopify store

I appreciate the suggestion - I actually like Excel, so it's not a burden. And I hate the idea of volunteering all that data to a single service. I know they can probably get most of it anyway, but they have to work for it.

Maybe you TFitz'd yourself! "Stupid future me is gonna have a whole shelf full of Shuma!"

I tried tracking and it just made the quantities and money spent too real for me to want to acknowledge.
Precisely why I did it! I've got 2022-2025 numbers. It's...a lot.

Close enough! I like being able to set up pivot tables for additional info - for example, I can tell I spent $781 on Mafex figures in 2024. It's not super necessary, but it's fun to see and helps me figure out where I'm spending.

It's been a few years now, and it depends on the drop down menu reason you choose. You can game it before you even commit.

Generally, I don't want it, It's a duplicate, anything that would be your fault in judgment they charge shipping for.

Anything that's on the manufacturer or shipper, no cost.

I've also had it charge depending on when I schedule the pick up return or where I choose to drop it, but that seems to have gone away. At least in Canada. No shortage of drop points now, and they do the boxing for you.

Might be per User, too? I got two warning emails the last five years because I "return too much". I double up on some figs to game the paint lottery.

Huh. I drop off my Amazon returns at Kohl's and am a Prime member, so maybe that is a factor, but there's never a charge to return and I return plenty.
