To play the "who gets it in first game", which I am occasionally guilty of.

Impatience, to be frank. Ideally I’d much rather order from BBTS and support them as I have in years gone by. But I admit the anticipation gets to me, and if Amazon gets and ships them first, and gets them to me in two days no less, well, guilty. Plus, Prime member so shipping is free for me.
 
I have bought so much from BBTS over the years. Probably 10s of thousands of dollars worth so I don't mind cancelling something every now and then if it's something I've really been looking forward to.

I hedge my bets on who gets it first, then cancel superfluous orders (if I remember in time).

I usually order from multiple online shops because sometimes it’s a real race against the clock to find exclusives. (Or even general releases for that matter) And even though I pretty much live on my phone, I’m still human and I do lose track of time. So if I’m hunting down a McFarlane figure for example, I’ll turn over every rock and loose floorboard until I find what I’m looking for. Even if I have to eventually get what I want from overseas

Found Wolverine and Samurai in store for £61 but the Amazon preorder was £50 so I’m holding and being patient in order to be responsible, and dearly hoping the set I receive doesn’t have any defects or paint issues.

I also decided to cancel Juggernaut since I’m wary of whether it will really be much of an improvement on the bootleg figure with Hulk articulation and more accessories that I already have.

I’d like to be able to get it all, but it’s just too much too fast to justify the spending.
