I thought the same thing. Why is that set so hard to find if at least that many were sold? Is there one Target in East Bumfuck sitting on a thousand of them?

In all fairness to the team, with the possible exception of the head (minus the wings) and the arms and maybe hands, a Simonson Beta Ray Bill would require all-new tooling over the remainder of his body. There’s a lot of details on his boots, leg armor, and torso and belt that don’t match anything else made so far. So I get it, I really do. I just don’t like it.

Maybe more than 20,000 people want/ed Psylocke? It's possible the production number is higher but since it's a Target exclusive and the number sold rolls daily, it's not that inaccurate.

Are we inferring 20k is a bad number or a good number?

I think it's a high number, compared to the other numbers you shared. I'm curious about totals on other Gamerverse 2pks now too, but those are available other places besides Target. I think I'm interested in totals on Target exclusives.

And didn't Dan Yun just recently mention they were working on Target getting more Psylocke/Thanos packs for sometime next year? Not to mention the orders outside the US. Toy Snowman did a video a couple weeks ago and I think he mentioned that he ordered at least 1000 of the Psylocke/Thanos set for his site.

I wouldn't be surprised if that set ended up being closer to 40,000 units worldwide when all is said and done.

Edit:

Interesting to see the price increase on the Sentinel. Glad I have one ordered already, but as others have said that new price kills any chance of me ordering a second one.

Oh and the posts reminded me to preorder Apocalypse.

BRB is one of my biggest wants now. Even if this were the case, I'd want Bill to get all the modern bells and whistles. Butterfly joints, double torso joints, etc. After all, who knows when we'll get the next one.

Shoot, I totally forgot the 20k at Target was *just* the US. Whoops! Now I'm even more curious.

Toy Snowman is a big enough operation for him to move 1000 units?! That's 250 cases! I don't mean that disparagingly, that's great for him.
