Marvel Legends Gamerverse

I'm wondering what's up with the price, too. If it's just a regular-ol' price increase, or if it has something to do with a Capcom license? Did they need a license for this, or are the sprites on the back legally-distinct enough to not pay Capcom?

The MvC 2pks are $60, so the increase of $3 seems like tariff balance or something. It's not like standard 2pks like Amazon's 49.99 Extremis/Mandarin or Masque/Crossbones. Gotta be the Gamerverse "licensing".
 
If these were separate I 100% would've picked up two Furies to see if the non-grimacing face from the three pack fits on this body. I have enough Punishers already, but not enough Nick Furies IMO, so they'll get me for this set once.

It's in line with the Punisher/Bushwacker set from last year, which was also priced higher than a standard 2-pack at $54.99 and had a slightly higher accessory count (but really, it's a Punisher popularity tax). The Sentinels and Outriders were similar "deluxe" 2-packs.
 
I only want the Fury head. Might throw Dum Dum's head on this body and see how that looks.

How much of Nick is new? Head and torso?

The price kinda sucks but I ordered the Punisher 2 pack. With most of Hasbros stuff coming out now I expect it'll ship next week (lol, kinda). But I expect it to be earlier then they say. On a good note, most of my Hasbro preorders will be out before this hits. So I won't be paying as much by then. Still, Hasbro, give me a very tiny break for like 2 weeks, at least.

Ordered one set, but now y'all make me want two for a second Punisher.

I'd like to just swap the boots and gloves over. Do the forearms work for that, is that the point with the Vulcan forearm line? Or is it fused on
 
Man, I really like that Punisher in blue from the 2 pack that went up for pre order today. I really like all the accessories too. But that Nick Fury is just not something I need or want at all. I don't know if I feel a blue Punisher and some accessories is worth $65.

This Gamerverse line keeps doing that to me. I'll want one of the two characters. Over here in the Camelverse we're getting pissy with the Gamerverse.

I'll say, at least for me, it has not been hard to offload the second figure so far. I managed to ditch the Venom and War Machine so far leaving me with just the stuff I wanted for a price close to what I would've been willing to pay.
 
I'm still loving Wolverine but I'm not sure how I feel about the cup shoulders (does this type of PoA have a proper name?) in lieu of butterflies. I don't think the tradeoff for some additional up/down motion is worth losing the across the lateral movement butterflies provide. That said, I have *zero* problem with them experimenting with different types of articulation, and I hope to see a lot more of it.

Only one I can't move is Silver Samurai. Nobody cares about him :(
