At this point why even keep it?So the Wolverine 2 pack arrived today I like Silver Samurai even less than I thought I would. No use for him.
Wolverine is such a mixed bag. The body is so damn amazing. Top notch. But... I absolutely hate all the "gamerverse" changes. Overly long mask and boot wings. Those stupid claws. Yeah, don't like them at all. Oh, and lack of the boot swivel is so dumb.
But I didn't read about how his claws are removable. So I have to decide, do I swap them or cut them shorter. I'm also really considering cutting his cowl shorter. Thing is, after I do this, Hasbro will re-release him in a "comic" version.
Maybe that's the ticket to getting the red Elektra. Do a two pack off that one issue where she tried to help.I *really* like Wolverine in hand. I'm absolutely loving having a double ball torso on a ML figure and feel more than ever it needs to become standard. He's definitely a little too big, but I've got so many tiger stripe Wolverines I don't really care. I will be very happy to buy a 90s feral/bandana Wolverine on this body - especially if they put out Cannonball in X-Men uniform around the same time.
You and I won't stop beating this dead horse, yet it bears repeating: the double ball torso should be the standard.I'm absolutely loving having a double ball torso on a ML figure and feel more than ever it needs to become standard.
If I owned him, I'd definitely throw him in with 1/10 figures.I may actually put him with a McFarlane Batman or something.
I remain surprised that the Maximum line wasn't where they rolled out the double-ball torso. You and I won't stop beating this dead horse, yet it bears repeating: the double ball torso should be the standard.
Cost me $65 CDN plus tax with an EB Games discount. Amazon.ca has it for $69 before tax.I ordered one set. $63 is dumb as hell tho.
