ML Mini Comic wave

Rom and Banshee were due Tuesday for me. Then I was out in my driveway today (Easter Sunday) and the Amazon guy says, "excuse me" and hands me my package. Wasn't expecting that one.
I've been spending a lot and the price of things has got me down lately. Was thinking about canceling these. But as an x men guy, I can't let a classic Banshee go, and Rom looks fun.
 
ROM, Banshee, Adam, and Ultimate Iron Man arrived today and they’re awesome. Great figures, and I’m happy beyond measure to finally have a ROM figure.

But I admit, I’m having a tough time figuring out which weapon is which. From what I remember, the Neutralizer should have two bars on the front, which neither of these does. So I’m trying to figure out if the larger or smaller is the Neutralizer.

First World problems. 😆
 
Got my figures today (no Ultimates) and while Banshee, Warlock, and Daken look fine, they're just base bodied figures, so not much to talk about. ROM, however, is absolutely excellent. All-new sculpt with weapons, extra hands, and effect piece for $25 was SO worth it. Bought a 2nd for a custom, but we shall see how my motivation works for it.

Amazon don't care about holidays! I'd have been fine with getting mine tomorrow, but saw the package arrive on my ring. I was with family at the time. Got home a bit ago and while opening up my figures, I saw another Amazon vehicle drive by.
 
When I worked in retail we only ever got Thanksgiving and Christmas off. That was about 15 years ago, though.

I believe that the bigger one is the neutralizer And the smaller one is the energy analyzer which on the marvel wiki page shows that one having 2 bars. But I'm just guessing tbh. The way the neutralizer was depicted in the idw comics matches the bigger one

Either way mine are still listed as Tuesday and haven't shipped yet so we will see I guess
 
ROM and Banshee just arrived. The only two I pre-ordered. Playing the long game for the rest.
Banshee is great, but...
ROM is just amazing! Easily my favorite figure of 2025 so far, and looking at the rumor/leak list, the only figures that could possibly beat him would be Gorgon or Mephisto.
Hopefully in true SDCC fashion following the footsteps of Crystar (revealed 2023) and ROM (revealed 2024) - we'll see The Micronauts! Or at least Bug.

I just opened Banshee and Rom too. I'll finish this sentence.

Banshee is great but we've been sold this figure before and we will be sold this figure again. There were no surprises expected and none received. He was never going to be anything more than what we got, and yet just about everyone is going to buy it because "classic X-Men", the shee.....er, customers can't say no. This sort of release is Hasbro's bread and butter.

I have no connection to Rom, but he is what four other reuse bucks in the wave buys us, and he's pretty good. He's 80s, and I'm an 80s guy. Got the silver paint (which we should be getting ten times out of ten instead of the swirly plastic), he's got some height to him, articulation functions well, he's got two nice blasters. I guess my only gripe is the one blast effect for two blasters, a blast effect that is very specific to this weapon and cannot borrowed from another figure. Rom does not have a home on my shelf so for now he's next to Silver Surfer because of the space and silver theme.

Capital only cares about religion when its time to suppress someone's civil liberties over it.
