Yea, mine say they’ll be here on the 12th. First time a Walmart “Collector Con” preorder item has shipped on time in a long time for me. I think this one’s actually showing up before all the ones from the Collector Con before this last one.

I think you might be right. It has been at least two weeks since these started to hit stores because they started to pop up right around SDCC

I hadn't pre-ordered the War Machine/Omega Red set, but honestly I think if I see them in store, I'll be hard-pressed not to pick them up. If nothing else, I can pass that armor off as another set in my Armory, and the updated Omega Red looks nice.
 
My Omega Red and War Machine 2-pack is supposed to arrive tomorrow (Monday) but this is one that I'm having a hard time getting excited for. I got the War Machine to add my Iron Man armory but this will be my 4th different Omega Red, but the last 3 from Hasbro are mostly the same repainted again.
 
There is actually already a review up on YouTube of Gamerverse Cap and Venom if anyone wants to see it.


The set looks good, but I don't know what to do. In no way do I need a Blue Venom, even though he looks cool blue. But I really like that clean, no chainmail Captain America. I like his shield effect too. But I'd be paying $60 just for the Cap, and I already have a lot of Caps, they just have chainmail and not that clean, flat blue. I don't know if this clean look is worth $60
 
I'm in the same boat, I'm still torn on the Cap/Venom 2-pack as well. I've got it pre-ordered but might still cancel. It's a nice Cap but I just recently bought the Secret Wars one and still haven't opened by ToyBiz 20th anniversary tribute one. The blue Venom I'd likely just use as another random symbiote.

I kind of feel the same about the Silver Samurai / Wolverine 2-pack as well. I'm torn. Unlike many, it's actually the new Samurai that I want. I have the old one, but I'd like both. While I like the articulation on the new Wolverine, I'd never get over the over-exaggerated height and costume features. The X-Men '97 version is still my favorite Logan.

Same! Maybe we can help each other out. You buy two sets and send me the Cap from one of them. That'll fix everything. The two Venoms will practically cancel each other out leaving you with no Venoms and 1 clean Captain America.

My plan is to sell off the Venom on eBay. I know there's plenty of Venom fans who don't want the Cap, and I'm happy to provide. As long as it offsets about 1/3 of the cost of the 2-pack it'll be fine (my budget isn't shot right now), and more than that is just gravy. There's no doubt in my mind he'll sell, it's just for how much.

I'm tempted to go see if I can do the Omega Red/ War Machine the same way, but I'm not as confident I'll sell the War Machine for a reasonable price. Course I don't have that pack ordered so it's an academic worry right now.
 
For me the question of what to do with light blue Venom is an easy one. He can simply be another symbiote alongside the shelf full of other colorful symbiotes ... i barely remember most of their names anyway.

That would almost work but follow me here. If the 2 Venoms cancel each other out, won't the two Caps cancel each other out? I mean, if I buy 2 for $120, won't I just have nothing?

I need to buy 3. The 2 Two Packs will completely disappear from space and time when they cancel each other out, but the 3rd one will still remain and exist, and I'll send you the Cap from that 3rd, surviving set. Then, once that Cap is gone from my home when I send it to you, I'll buy a 4th set that will basically be a new first set, and I'll keep the Cap from that set, and the extra Venom from that 4th set, along with the remaining Venom from the 3rd set will cancel each other out and again just disappear. Thus, leaving me with one Cap and you with one Cap.

it's almost too easy.
 
I’m in the minority that’s sort of interested in Venom, but not Cap. Even at $30 though, that would be a tough pill to swallow.

Y'know it's probably only a matter of time until a bright Blue Venom int he comics anyway. He'll be named like a c-grade horror film or after a mental illness. You're onto something here.
