Went a little Apeshit with my Joe buying the last two months weeks and I blame all of you (thank you). I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like Blowtorch, Heavy Duty and Snow Serpent. Also enjoying Darklon, Frag-viper, Saw-Viper, retro Recondo and Doc. I was trying to pare down my collections so I skipped a lot of the figures upon initial release. Now I also have Starduster, Leatherneck, Steel Corp vs Twilight Guard, Dusty, retro Rock n Roll, Barbecue and Grunt in my BBTS POL. With the exception of some bendy rifles, this line does not disappoint. I forgot how fun it is to kit them up with the crazy amount of accessories they come with.
 
Has anyone's Frag Viper shipped from Pulse? They emailed me the estimated ship date was the 17th, then charged me on the 21st, but haven't heard anything since. They don't wait to ship in-stock items alongside pre-orders from the same order, do they?

Nope. They ship them out as they come in.

So, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that Darklon's second head had a pointy beard at first. A tongue sticking out sculpted onto a mask is an odd choice.

I bought two Darklon figures to use both heads, but am going to repaint one with a different color scheme so they don't look weird on the same shelf.
 
I'd love a full Darklon repaint, especially since he has two heads. Looking online it doesn't seem like he got any alts, but I am in the group who thinks his colors are a bit odd for Cobra.

BTW, is Darklon human? You can see green skin and red eyes under his mask.
 
ok sorry for all the questions but does anyone else have problems lifting the arms to the side on their Darklon? Mine get stuck easily around the 60 degree mark, and it takes some force to lift them up to his shoulders for a T-pose. I watched D Amazing's video and his are smooth. I'm wondering if the armpit has too much plastic or what. It's like Raptor all over again.

I think people are really focused on the second week disaster of Hasbro having a last minute freak out and cancelling. That really put a damper on the rest of the month.

However I also think people were being a bit unrealistic with their expectations. Outside of the second week we had two other weeks of Joe content. Granted one week was comics, but it was still interesting for collectors who read the comics and/or collect the figures. Without that second week fail it would have been fine.

Also let's not forget that either this week, or next Monday, but probably this week. Maybe tomorrow? We will be getting the reveal of the next Haslab. I think once that happens a lot of the grumbling will die down as there will be something big, shiny and new to focus on for at least two weeks. Also finishing up on a Haslab for Yo Joe June is a pretty good ending.

Again it is all about that second week. Most people are really focused on that, but they seem to forget that all those preorders went up, minus the cop. It is just the reveals got relegated to preorders instead of a fanstream. And if we are being honest those reveals get spoiled every time because of how Hasbro handles promotional images for retailers. They get uploaded, usually the night before which is why they get spoiled before the fanstream almost every time.
