Star Wars Black Series

My only concern is that they won't be useful. Depending on how the pieces fit together, you may either have 'okay' range, 'good' range, or literally nothing but 360 degree swivel. I'm interested to see how these work once someone has them in hand.

New Han has them, you can check reviews on the Tube. Reviewer I saw didn't seem to put them through any sort of paces.

Of course, as soon as I make a post calling out the lack of Force hands, Hasbro goes and reveals them. I'd like to think that they'll start being included with every Force user, but we'd hoped the same thing about the lightsaber fan effect after it came out with Dooku, and it's only been reused, what, twice now? Aayla and this BotH set?
The con Starkiller has a red and blue fan.

My wife loves Ewoks. I hate Ewoks.
Even though the SWB collection is 'my' collection - the reality is that I try to put bits of my wife into my collections as often as I can (that sounds weird, right?). If there's a character/costume/etc I know she likes in a property that I collect, I try to make sure I have them prominently represented. So if they make some more Ewoks, I'll almost certainly get them if they're readily available.

I want every damn Ewok that has ever been on the screen! I love those furry little bastards, and I would buy any Hasbro made.

Also, thanks Schizm for mentioning the Jedi Temple Guard was on Amazon last night. I pre ordered a 3rd. I had pre ordered two on Pulse and wished I had done 3. But when I went back to Pulse, they were sold out of the pre orders for the Guard. So, I was glad to be able to get another pre order that will ship free from Amazon.

Always the problem. Literally, the bane of toy collecting is that every dipwad who manages to actually get figures earlier than everyone else is also kind of fucking trash (respectfully) at doing any kind of comprehensive review. Even just words - not necessarily video reviews or anything. Half the time it's some clown posting pictures of a boxed figure that they refuse to open. Fuck off, dude.
I'll double-check and see if anyone is commenting on the wrists. At least it doesn't seem like it'll be long before Han is in stores. Hell, I think he comes out after the SDCC figures will be in peoples' hands. So either way it won't be long to figure out if they've done anything useful with the new wrists or not.

Thousand percent. Always.

Just like leaks will always use a Nokia 2001 Potato camera. "They had to sneak the shot". Nah. I can go birdwatching from a moving car with just a tap on my phone. They are in the warehouse setting the figure up, or in front of the tv screen to take the shot of the game in the first place.

I'm the same way with my boyfriend. He's a huge lover of Star Wars as well- Dark Side characters especially, but he doesn't collect anywhere near like I do- only so I always try and keep him updated on new Dark Side releases and display them prominently on my shelves, since every time he comes over he likes to just pause and look at my displays.

Sorta side-note- he always texts me or sends me videos of what's on the shelves at his local stores any time he goes out, just to see if there's anything I'm looking for. Today, he sent me a video of his Target's clearance section- 30 of the "evergreen" Darth Vader releases. Didn't catch how much they were, but his store must've been chosen as a scapegoat or something, since it's one of those smaller "express" Targets that usually doesn't have much of anything. I know it was a crappy decision by Hasbro to begin with- releasing the same Vader and Mando we've gotten a dozen times over with nothing new at the same price point was a recipe for disaster. That's all I see in stores anymore, and I hope doesn't deter stores from ordering more stock in the future. The only place I'm really still seeing new Black Series consistently around me is GameStop.

Those Vaders and Mandos keep selling, though. Granted, I'm in a big city, but those figures are not sitting on store shelves. In fact, my main Target is currently sold out of Vader and I'm curious if the restock will be the new boxes.

I'm a huge proponent of evergreen character releases as long as they don't take spots from new releases. Classic Spidey, Wolverine, Cap, Iron Man, possibly Panther and Venom, should not be online, aftermarket-only hard to find for a casual fan. I think Vader and Mando are exactly that for SW.
