I didn't get the Starkiller 3 pack, but I'm trying to remember how much it was. Wasn't it around $100? That set only had 1 new figure and a handful of new accessories and was $100- this one has 2 new figures, some new accessories, and a huge new 2-part base. Doesn't sound
thaaaat bad in the grand scheme of things. They easily could've charged more. I don't wanna sound like a Hasbro shill all of a sudden- is it price gouging? Yeah, probably, but it doesn't really feel
as blatant this time- at least there's a fair amount of new stuff.
I keep going back to Barriss' glamour shots and I'm in awe. She looks so good. It's making me love the character even more, which is a testament of how far TBS's quality has improved. These figures are superb. I mean, look at the faces on Anakin and Obi-Wan.
With Hot Toys making Saesee Tiin, Hasbro will probably follow soon. And I bet we'll see Agen Kolar as well, so that we can recreate Palpatine's scene.
So can I wish for Adi Gallia? Can I dream?
Agreed- Hasbro has really been knocking it out of the park with these Jedi figures, especially these last 3 ladies. All 3 are pretty high up on my list of favorite Jedi; something about the mix of traditionally feminine garments and almost religious/cultural garments has always really appealed to me. That may be an over-simplification of things and maybe not entirely the right descriptor, but that's the best way I can think of to put it, and I applaud Hasbro for going with those looks, especially for Barriss- more traditionally "feminine" figures belong on the shelf every bit as much as the guys or the action-oriented gals. Not to be
that guy, but McFarlane would never make Luminara or Barriss-
maybe Aayla, and
maybe Shaak Ti in her odd Force Unleashed look, but not their dresses.
I'd love an Adi Gallia too; always remember playing as her in Jedi Power Battles and thinking she was secretly some ex-Sith or something because of her reddish pink lightsaber. I'm sure there's some existing parts, maybe from Rey, that they can tweak a little to make a female version of the Jedi tunic that Obi, Mace, etc. have. Plus, they can pretty much just immediately turn around and re-release it with a slightly different head sculpt or face plate as Stass Allie.
