Harvinger Studios, Savage Crucible

Harvinger really is going to just double-down on using AI, aren't they? Feels directed now. Like they're saying 'fuck you, stop buying the toys if you don't like it. We have stocks in data centers.'
Yeah, that literally feels like a fuck you to any of the folks who reacted badly last time.

I've also hit the point where anyone who asks AI to generate that bland anime-meets-pixar idealized version of themselves loses any respect I might have for them. I react to someone using one of those images like I would someone walking down the street with their dick out.

Not that Harvinger gives a shit about me, a single customer. But let me tell you that, with the world the way it is, there's basically no product I need badly enough to watch someone be fucking horrible and still give them my money over and over again. NOT embracing AI when it has nothing to do with what your company even does is the EASIEST fucking layup in history. If you can't even manage it, I dunno - you're either a complete fucking idiot or you are intentionally trolling people that don't like scummy behaviour. And I don't think Rob is dumb.

Literally just not using it. Just make the announcement in Canva like every other business.

I kinda wish Bobby would make fun of them for it. He hasn't been using AI, right? Like I think it'd be hilarious if someone who regularly pisses off his potential audience pulls a Joker vs. Red Skull and is like even I don't do that.

Granted, that would be amazing. And it's not like you never have the option to be a better person. So be a better person, Bobby. Go after the AI bullshit bros.

Honestly, though, I'm so surprised that Rob's OWN artists, who work on his line, aren't like 'dude, what the fuck?'

That's what gets me. He's got actual working artists on staff. Nikki made her name as a customizer, a hands-on artist and crafter. Although if I've learned anything on the publishing side, way too many people are like "as long as I'm getting mine, fuck everyone else."

Except it's someone else's dick they stole.

This pic kills me because Walmart cancelled my order for the Scorpios and now apparently it's impossible to get

Nice setup though, looks like you have a good time with these dudes on your desk (y)
Scorpios Rex is currently up for pre-order at Entertainment Earth. I've waffled back & forth so many times on this one, without pulling the trigger. But I think I've finally settled on skipping him & living with the regret later. Seeing that he just has a cut joint at the base of his head is a real bummer, in addition to losing the glass eyes.

I was just looking through the first Savage Crucible graphic novel.

The Goat guy is on the first page of the story in a group shot.

I just tuned in to hear what's going on with this vidcast Nikki and Rob are on and there's some guy - presumably one of the hosts - named 'Stew Dog' that seemingly hasn't shut the fuck up for like 6 straight months. I mean, I get it but Jesus Christ....

Yeah. Nothin's really new.

Blank barbarian bodies will be called primals, and will each have a new weapon.
Their shin coverings will be slip on overlays.
They have about 31 figures in various stages of production.
They explained how licensed IP help brings new eye to their product, and increases their fan base.

Titan Toy Expos reveals will roll out over the next 90 days, which disappoints me because I thought I wad going to that one and I'm not. I'm going to Toy Unity and will only get two drops.

So feel bad for me.

Knights might, BIG might, be out this year.
We might get anew IP announced this year.
Pre-orders are coming.

And, I might have inspired their reservation system. On a couple of podcasts they brought up how a guy couldn't get a Bryn'yar figure at Zolocon, (the convention drop figure,) because they were sold out and the guy had driven hours to get it.

well, that happened to me at Zolocon.
I drove 2.5 hours, not 6 like they're saying, but it was still a lot.
And they did give me a figure out of their next day stock, so I did get one.

Maybe it happened it to another guy too, but I think they're referring to me.

Talk about addressing customer issues.

I tried to listen, but it felt like the hosts like hearing themselves talk a little bit too much and I just couldn't sit through them just to get Rob and Nikki kind of regurgitating the same stuff they've said previously. Based on the above post, it doesn't seem like I missed anything.
