General Marvel Legends

Or honestly, stop being such cheap assholes and give us two different shields, one for his back and one to hold.
They never will without raising the price. I've been hoping they give us an extra lightsaber hilt for ages- make the one with the blade non-removable so it's a little sturdier and less prone to breaking/bending, and give us a second hilt for those who want to display it on the belt (though the bladed look is definitely the more popular of the two). But if they can't (or won't) do that, an extra shield is asking for too much.

It's crazy because they literally do this for the 4" figures. Makes me so angry because the little peg sticking off the hilt when the figure is posed with the blade ignited looks stupid as fuck and is irritating to work around.

Yeah. I probably should have clarified, I mostly mean this for a Maximum version. But at this point, I'm just hoping they come up with a better setup and give it to us with the Maximum version, and use that moving forward. Hasbro is so ridiculously cheap that they haven't improved upon this setup because Cap figures still sell like crazy, so this is the closest they've had to an excuse/motivation to improve.

FF:FS - Not interested. I'm not judging them, I just don't collect movie figures. Except, maybe, Silver Surfer. She would go into the "Heralds" display.

I loved the game, but I don't need physical representations of the digital characters....
However, I might get that Juggernaut because he looks epic. We'll have to see about those hip-to-leg joints though.
Shuma Gorath (Gigantos) is an immediate buy. WITH AUTHORITY! I think the concerns about the longevity of the materials are valid. It looks to be less dense than the typical bendy wire covering. Maybe a Nerf-like foam. Nerf is a Hasbro product.

Same here! The whole wave looks very cool. Wish it was a BAF wave because I’m getting them all anyway.

Same. The 1 time I actually buy a whole wave, and there's no added incentive. 😅 Guess it's the best of both worlds, though- I either always want the BAF, but not the figures, or the figures, but not the BAF parts.

Honestly... just put straps on the back of the shield and a hole in the middle. Include a single separate peg that can connect the shield to the back. Or Jesus fuck.. just put the peg on a hinge without the C-clip, so that the peg can point straight out to peg into his back, or can hinge into a J-hook so he can hold it like a handle.

There's so many better options than the worst option they've decided on.
That's true. The 4H/Mythic Legions shield design is better.

I returned one ML and one DC figure today because a.) both are surefire clearance candidates and b.) they've been sitting in my car untouched for weeks which is a sign that I don't care that much.

ML's return was jumpsuit Professor X who commands one full peg at all of my local Targets.

DC's return was Connor Hawk Green Arrow who, despite my love for 90s DC, I've never read any comics about.

Catch you next time, you two.

The "adult humor" Reed and Sue jokes are going to be flowing like water on the internet all summer long, in fact it could probably be its own thread. I just saw a very creative one the other day. Were nerds thinking this way back in 1962 too? Or is it just us?

They ratcheted up with Marvel Rivals and the mainstream revelation to younger nerds of Malice and Sue's Dommy Mommy potential.
