Masters of the Universe: Origins

I'm probably the only one here who Conan does absolutely nothing for. I've never read the comics or seen the movies and don't own a single Conan figure. There's always been room for one loin-cloth wearing barbarian in my life and that is He-Man.

Despara looks great! I was just popping in to ask about the quality from Boss Fight (never bought from them before). I'd love to pick up Conan and Red Sonja in a compatible scale. (Apparently that's all I do with those two characters, find them in compatible scales and add them to displays.)
My only experience so far with BFS are Red Sonja and the Fraggles. The Fraggles seem to have the same articulation scheme (ball hinge joints at the elbows, knees, shoulders, ankles, ball socket hips I think). The Fraggles are FRAGILE. Especially the first wave, where there was a lot of breakage in the joints, pegs would snap right off. I think the quality of the second wave improved, but I'm certainly still wary of the issues. Hopefully they remedy that with these Conan and Sonja figures. The 6" Sonja has great quality plastic, fluid joints.

Fraggles were definitely fragile but their Saurozoic Warriors figures felt very sturdy and I haven't had any breakage with those. I think it was just the fact that the Fraggles have such thin limbs so the pegs have to be thin too. I don't think there should be issues with their Conan stuff.

Something bothering me about BFS Sonja - I don't like how they gave her a widow's peak in her hair. It looks so odd coming from the middle of her forehead, too low. Just keep the scalp line even.

Anyone else here that went in on the Eternia crowdfund? It's what I have my Origins figures displayed with and I'm here in the MOTU room rearranging and it's really not very display friendly.

I bought Eternia. And I'll be honest, watching reviews of how big it is, I have STILL not removed mine from the box lol. I don't know how I'm going to display it, or even how I want to display it. You are brave Justice. Not just to put it up, but to dare rearrange on and around such an ominous structure.

To jump in on the Boss Fight talk of quality, I have experience with a few lines of theirs.

Greek and Fantasy 3.75" HACKS, Saurozoic Warriors, and Power Stars 5" Retro figures (Phantom, Flash Gordon, etc.) I have tons of the HACKS figures. They have all been very good quality 3.75" figures. I will say, one of the more recent Waves had a few QC issues, but overall, any HACKS figures I have are nicely done. As are the horses for them.

Saurozoic and Power Stars 5" figures are all very sturdy, very colorful, and feel very well made. I have moved them and posed them a lot, and they maintain tight joints, they pose well and are really fun.

So, I would imagine these Immortal Champions figures will be well made as well.

I mentioned somewhere else on here, but there is a fan vote for Wave 2 of Immortal Champions on Boss Fights Facebook page. And possibly their other social media pages as well.

With Boss Fight preorders, do they take the money up front like the 4 Horsemen preorders or is it a pay when it arrives? I'd rather not go through BBTS for these but may need to wait a bit to order if it's pay up front.

I'm pretty sure they take the money up front.

BBTS has them up as well, so you can order them there.

Target's site finally lowered the price on the Hordak/Grizzlor concept 2-pack back down to $29.99.

BFS has always required payment at time of order.

So Despara is up on Mattel Creations right now (for Club Grayskull members first).

Decided to bite the bullet and get her along with Hurricane Hordak and Vultak to get a bit of value out of the shipping charges. Nice to not just pay the ridiculous shipping charge for just one figure.
