The Irishman
I could see She Hulk working well with Peter, but I don't know if Sony would want to deal with so much CG for a guest character. Eh, I guess Iron Man was probably CG for half his scenes.
Funny, I was just thinking about this story last night:Spidey guest star that is really needed is the Human Torch.
And I'm a complete ass man! I loved it.No. No she-hulk with Spidey. No more she-hulk at all for all I care. That she-hulk series was complete ass.
And it would be great if Sam Raimi directed it. He gets classic Spider-Man.
I guess I don’t mind a guest star on Spidey’s “level” like Daredevil, as long as they don’t make him “mentor” Spidey or whatever.
I know he has plenty of fans and obviously his movies did very well, but I haven't enjoyed his style for any superhero movies.
DEFINITELY. That's why he's perfect for this. Even if Peter attempts to put him in that role, Matt will reject it. IF Sony tries to do a pre-fully formed, not totally confident hero with Peter, Matt is the character to push him the rest of the way.I don't think Daredevil has the time or patience to mentor anyone.
Ah yes, that is doubly good for me.Well, you're in luck because Raimi won't be directing Brand New Day. Destin Daniel Cretton is.
Definitely. Tomorrow we could get a huge update on Brand New Day.But as we've seen, plans change.
And.... that could very well be the update.Speaking of which, this movie is supposed to come out on July 31st, 2026. That's what, 14 months away? They better get on the stick with it or it's going to get delayed just like Doomsday and Secret Wars.
I feel like the Punisher rights were separated from the Spider-characters since they've done three movies about him over the years. I don't full know about rights either really, as much as I like to pretend to.I'm astonished Sony didn't claim the rights.
Or maybe they did and they're just letting Marvel use him for Television and not the movies.
yes! Aha, I'm thinking the same. The first Punisher film with Lundgren was 1989, well before the Sony deal and Raimi films, so maybe the Punished was carved out as a pre-existing license on its own prior to the Sony contract? Just speculation.
Well, hold on there, don't bury the lede! Devil Wears Prada 2?!?!?Deadline has a little more on the Avengers delays:

Disney Pushes Next Two ‘Avengers’ Movies; Dates ‘The Dog Stars’ & ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’
The next two 'Avengers' movies have pushed release dates, with Ridley Scott's 'The Dog Stars' and 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' being dated.deadline.com
"Insiders noted that these two films are among the biggest ever made, and the delays simply allow more time to execute on a gargantuan vision. Disney/Marvel elected for December dates, given the success they’ve had in the holiday corridor with titles like Spider-Man: No Way Home. Avengers: Doomsday is in production now."
You are NOT alone.I just .... those Spider-Man movies were not for me.
