Third Party Figures

Are the Romankey blanks pretty parts-compatible? I'm hunting for a replacement neck peg and trying to figure out the best way to track one down (have only seen male replacement necks on eBay).

Believe so, but I don't have a generic. But they look exactly the same whenever I see reviews or them used in soft goods listings. Pretty sure she's just a unique skin tone.

Not sure if this is the right spot or not, but I got this big boy off 5KToys. Guardian of the Horde Magma Forgemaster from Mithril Action. Only paid $14.90 for it since I'd never used my points. Pretty cool figure and I love the paint work.

Missed this reply yesterday - thanks! I was trying to find if they sell replacement parts or not. I'd be happy to actally pay for an bunch of extra neck pegs to see if any fit her or not but can't find a way to get them other than buying a whole other figure.

I feel like one of the best ways would be to just get one of the knock off ones. I’d at least guess that the neck should probably fit peg should probably fit. They’re kind of loosy goosy and kind of suck otherwise

Legit question - any recommendations for a knockoff? I'm really just looking for a few neck pegs to try to get to fit into Jessica's head slot. (The sentences we type on this board that make no sense ANYWHERE ELSE in the world....)

They’re all over eBay fortunately/unfortunately

the horses are cool but would have been neat if they could have figured out a way to sell us one horse that can do either action or neutral. like the answer is to buy two horses but if you want to have two horses in action or two in neutral, you're back to square one.

5k just pinged me for some weird muscle mans. K Toys 1/12, the one with the moustache and boxing gloves. one of those "why did I order this?" moments. oh yeah, he looks cool 🤷‍♂️ bring it on!

Opened up some snail shell stuff recently and have thoughts.

Overall, these are very nicely painted and sculpted figures, there’s an lot of subtle paint work that you don’t see on many other brands that can really make them look good… however they are also almost certainly the most delicate figures in my collection. The bodies not so much, but some of the accessories are so finely sculpted and delicate it feels almost certain that I would eventually break one messing around with it too much.

Individual thoughts:
- tactical maid: imo this is the best of the bunch. Figure is solid and the design is such that everything feels really nice, and I’m not too worried about messing around with it.
- Aileene: also a nice figure but a few things. Some of the hands are just comically oversized. Wish it had some accessories, and I doubt it can balance well on its feet.
- Annalise: I really like the figure but… the accessory pack feels really fragile. The connection points for the grenades are this hard rigid plastic that feel like it could easily snap, and the cord on the telephone hand set is so thin that you get the same feeling. And overall the arms and such just feel fragile.
- Lustia: this figure is kind of disappointing. I really like the design of it, but the skimpy outfit is 1) again just feels fragile 2) good luck arranging everything so it sits well, particularly the part that sits over her chest. It really gets caught up on any movement of her neck and hair and rides up or shifts to the side.

And that hair, is a really hard plastic and super pointy. Again just feels very breakable.

I’m not sure those are all complaints really, as I kind of expected it to some degree, but in hand they somehow feel even less durable than expected… even though I think overall they are nice looking figures
