Third Party Figures

These guys are really fun. The only issue I have is that the eyes are movable, and one of them on my green one is a little loose.
 
Does anybody know what happened to the HiPlay amazon store? They had all the cool third party figures, imported through amazon to my country. I'd bought from them before and it was really smooth and worry-less. Now they seem to be gone, at least from amazon.
 
So... I didnt know where to post this exactly, but it looks like the Kickstarter for Space Zombies from Mars didnt make its goal. I just got the pre-order cancelation notice for the 4 astronaut figures I had signed up for. It is a bummer, I thought those Astronauts would be fun and useful in displays.

We had a channel for it before the server updated. Yeah, it stinks.
 
Funny that we now have two mini hot toys Aragorns coming:

Both 1/12, both with soft goods that look great at least in promo pics, and both with not-very-good likeness to Viggo Mortensen. But the Hellcat figure has actual hair, which could be made to look more action-y and dirty.

Both could turn out to be awesome, but I think the one with the stronger likenesses will be the one that sells the best.
 
It's funny, the one on the left has a stiff-looking jacket and the one on the right has a stiff-looking tunic.

The rooted hair mangles the likeness of the one on the left IMO.
 
@spinc Interesting. I have the Hellcat Gandalf and it's pretty awesome. I wasn't aware they were doing more. I agree with TSI about the hair, and the head looks small overall. Which company is doing the other one?
 
I got in the Skeleton Chest Monster the other day, here's our video on him. He's a TON of fun, lots of customization options, and just a stellar paint job inside the chest itself. I'm slowly putting together a Constantine-themed Diorama, I bought this guy to be a background character chasing after him. He's fun and reminds me a bit of "Chesty", a sociopathic treasure chest out for blood in the Fable 2 video game.
