I was just thinking this earlier today. Our best chance for getting him and with the way the show loves to go to retro looks it could happen.

I hope not. Just release the figures individually so someone isn’t forced to buy something they don’t want in order to get something they do want.
 
My only hope is that it is indeed a new body, not the reused Caliban wave-- and smooth, without too many fur details. Very animation accurate.
 
Usually I’d be all for a new sculpt but animated Beast’s screen accurate fur looked kinda weird on Iron Studio’s statue. The DST bust just kind of ignored the fur other than a few shoulder tufts but those looked even more out of place with perfectly smooth arms. I think I’d prefer they just do what they did with Nightcrawler and make pinless limbs and a matching sets of fists & open hands this time. Beast’s face in the series had such strong features that getting a little texture on it to match the body wouldn’t kill the animated look.
 
With the way the line has gone I’m expecting a new sculpt. I mostly just want a better head as I prefer a Beast with pupils in his eyes.

With them doing X-Factor Cyclops and Jean recently it seems likely that they would do a human Beast as well (and a new Angel and Iceman). Maybe he’ll be a Target exclusive in the not too distant future, or that ends up being a box set with the red and yellow Jean and that’s how they get folks to double-dip by dangling a new beast and maybe Iceman. I’m guessing Angel would be a stand-alone release like the previous one and then you know they’ll follow it up with a first appearance Archangel based on the X-Force one that just came out.
 
Im debating on getting the Target exclusive Jean, but I'm not sure I want the team in those outfits. I still haven't gotten Scott cause I'm on the fence. I would rather have a new 1st Class redo, the og 5. They look nice, but I have no attachments to the suits. But I also really like Jean. Maybe I'll see if it goes on clearance or something.

Idk if I believe she’s in the green outfit, as Dwight and Dan have said many times the figures in wave 4 have the looks from season 2. Plus how would leaks know what outfit she’s in when the original Chinese source for these just had the names?

These are likely all season 2 looks. The hasbro team said they’re looking to sprinkle in characters we haven’t gotten with deluxe and 2 pack offerings but I would imagine, like with what was intended for season 1, wave 4 will coincide with the season 2 drop.

I've been waiting for him to sell more ever since the retro card Beast came out, but so far he hasn't (despite saying he would). Now I kind of don't want him to until I can see what Hasbro has come up with.

You may as well wait and see what Hasbro does at this point. I'm guessing new Beast will be yet a different shade of blue than the Cliban or retro Beast, you'll want a head that matches your color. I also have a Casting Cave "Jim Lee" head for this Beast, so there's some money sunk into this guy already, makes it hard to ditch it for Hasbro's newest thing, especially if they're just going to reuse this buck.

Is there another costume it could be? They've already done the Jim Lee look.
 
Wasn't there a leak that said Season 2 they'd have their Morrison era costumes? If that is true, I'd think it likely that is what we'll see in Wave 4.
