X-Men '97

I'm going to save any Beast enthusiasm until it's revealed. "Deluxe" is a highly subjective term, especially where ML is concerned (I've seen GI Joe Classified standard releases that would equal a ML "deluxe"). I wouldn't be surprised to see the Beast buck that we've already been sold thrice four times, just in a bigger box with some tiny extras.

(I was REALLY excited to use the word "thrice" but then I remembered Dark Beast. Foiled!)

I recall a Nimrod leak a while ago - I hope that’s secretly him.

Points for the Beast leak though :)
 
Beast could interest me if there's enough different, but the deluxe price is gonna hurt it.

He came with all of the above at the standard price, if I'm not mistaken, when they rereleased him with the lab coat. I don't have huge confidence that we're going to get any kind of value for our dollar with this one but we'll see.

I've been doing the annual reevaluation of my ML collection and the 97 figures are actually on the bubble. I know I just got them but I just put my comic figures on display again because I got Psylocke and I'm sitting here thinking, "What more do I need?" Another situation where it's tough because they're all pretty cool, but.......

Are these going to be season 2 figures? What other looks could Cyclops and Jean have? White tux Genosha Gambit? 90's casual midriff Gambit?

I'm pretty sure the retro card Beast with the lab coat from 2022 was $34.99.
 
Meme Gambit is a definite possibility since they didn't give him a fabric cut-off tee in the two-pack like they did Rogue. Perfect way to give that design to fans in a low-tool double-dip - AND to cover up the not-meant-for-viewing-flat-torso - and they chose not to. Usually they do that for a reason.

I’m guessing a mix of season one and two. Beast pretty obviously season 1 as is green suit Rogue. Cyclops and Jean most likely in show versions of their Redd and Slym looks or some other future, what-if, thing. Unless Hasbro is committed to basketball looks for all.
 
Yea, they did have a surprising range of bodies from Starting Lineup to reuse for the rest of them. They’re gonna have to use Steph Curry to make sure we don’t have anybody fighting about another Wolverine that’s too tall.
 
Can Beast show up in human form in X-Men '97 season 2 so that we finally have a chance of getting that very-much-needed and very-much-reusable body for him? Please and thanks.
 
Hasbro did such a great job on the Caliban wave Beast that it's going to take something special for me to replace him.
