I’ll be ordering Logan, Emma, and Jubilee. I don’t need Roberto, and the last Cable I bought is good enough for me. I’m also passing on Morph, I’ve just never liked him. Not in the original cartoon, and not now.
I hope I can manage to snag a Scott/Jean 2-pack on Pulse when it’s put up for preorder. I didn’t realize at first that it was an exclusive. I’ll probably pass on Logan/Storm and Rogue/Gambit.
 
Just stopping by to say I'm in love with all the '97 offerings. I love that the Hasbro team is going all in with this line.

You mean to tell me I can recreate this scene from one of my favorite runs now (if I pretend Remy's torso isn't hideous)?

I had a bit of a resistance with the animated style (even though it looks great) but I can swap some heads with the comics figures and it will be fine.
 
I donno why they didn’t just use a torso like what Ka-Zar has. It’s right there. The Starting Lineup pecs look like droopy manboobs.
 
I was pumped for yesterday and WOW. I was up early, worked out and consistently checked the outlets - never expected my day to start with Mafex Maverick and deliver Gambit and Rogue playing basketball! Cable was my big wish and they killed it with him, perfect '97 version :) but the extra surprises took me back to 1993 going to a comic store and being fired up for X-Men 4 and 5 (back issues then) and reading the Omega Red/Wolverine origin.

Suffice it to say I will be pre-ordering some stuff. The powered up Sunspot would be a cooler visual than just a plain jane version, but still into him. Looking even more forward to Season 2 and hopefully Bastion. Cyclops is the only weakness, that's not a toon body.
 
Well, I ordered more of those than I thought I would. having all the characters, I didn't think I would need or want any of this Wave 3 of X-men 97. But I ended up getting Emma, Jubilee, Cable, and Logan. They just all look really good, and they don't look too animated that they won't fit in with all the comic figures.
 
Good God, Big Bad is bogged down right now. Next to impossible to order the X97 stuff at the moment.

Who knew it was this popular??
 
Yea. It took a little longer then usual to preorder the XMen and Star Wars stuff. Still got it in, but had to refresh a few times on a couple pages. I ordered Emma, Cable, and Morph. I was gonna order Wolverine and maybe Jubilee too, but I don't like those claws and the old Jubes is still fine for me. Maybe if they go on sale or at least stick around for a while.

Oh weird. Somebody must’ve canceled and let me add Emma Frost that looked sold out. Glad I got the set.

Also the Series 1 Gambit rerelease showed up at GameStop. Quietly also went back in stock on Pulse too.
 
I wonder if the alternate head from that black outfit Emma will work with this figure, the one with the short hair.

I owned the Emma from the Hellfire box set for a little while. I hated it. Gummy legs, stiff cape, heels. She could barely stand, posing was out of the question. I hope 97 Emma is a little better.
 
Ordered Emma, Roberto, and Morph (strictly for the Gyrich head). Resisted the urge to order multiples of ‘Berto for potential customs. I’ll bank on official New Mutants instead.
 
Had trouble with BBTS too; nice to know it wasn't just me, since I was in a place with wonky reception. Got all the ones I wanted. Still not entirely sold on Emma or Logan, but knowing me, I'll probably snag them, if only to support the line, and because I'm weak.
