What is the rarest figure you own?

gave a Holy Grail figure/collectable in your collection and want to brag about it? here's the thread for that

admittedly I don't own anything that would be considered insanely rare or would net me a large sum on the secondary market. maybe the rarest thing that I had owned (and do not currently own) is this set of Star Wars micro transforming sets that were not available in the US

can't remember how much I paid but I believe it was very reasonable

Toy Biz Legends blue Wasp.

Platinum McFarlane Wonder Woman and Black Series Cara Dun,e, maybe, based on local community talk.

Without doing any hard research, I would guess my rarest would probably have to be the Cloverfield monster that Hasbro put out by special order only.

Nothing too crazy rare, but I do have a 1980 Kenner complete 12"IG-88. I think that's considered a tough one because the grenades on his bandolier tend to get lost.

The rarer figures I have to put an asterisk by would be the Kenner Alien and those old Mattel Shogun warriors. I know I have Mazinger, Gaiking, Dragun, and Godzilla. I put an asterisk by these because they've been in my attic for decades and I have no idea if they held up to temps of my attic. I know they weren't complete and Godzilla had the very common broken fire breath lever. I totally regret putting them up there and should rescue them someday.

Not sure. I have the naked Rowlf Palisades Muppet figure that came with the backstage playset that isn't common. The Palisades Lips figure isn't too common either. I have that. Some of my Press Pop Jim Woodring toys are pretty rare. Frank, Pushpaw, & Pupshaw set I'm thinking is hard to find. I have the Daniel Clowes Death Ray figure. That is pretty rare.

One of my grails is the Kaiyodo Revoltech Gothic Field Armor, silver edition. I wanted it for years and I finally got it in 2022 used but for a reasonable price. Probably the best (maybe the only one) historical knight figure in 1/12.

I also got a new, in-package ToyFare convention exclusive Fone Bone (from Jeff Smith's Bone comics) for dirt cheap, not in the US mind you. I really don't know how something like that got where it did, and went unsold for like 20 years. But man was I happy to find him! Bone is easily the best comic I've ever read, and having figure rep for the characters was so sweet. I still need to find some more of them.

The rarest thing I *had* was probably the DCUC naked Cheetah, but I sold it off long ago.

Rarest thing I have now might be shield shooter Northlord, Hawkler, or battle-matic Zarak, none of which is all *that* rare.

My GI Joe Night Force figures that were TRU exclusives back in the day spring to mind. I have every one but Muskrat and they are all complete.

A complete set of the main cast of Silverhawks. Their chrome looks nice, their wings all function, and they all have their birds.

I have a G1 Megatron that's almost complete, just missing that little silver weapon that has nothing to do with his transformation. I have a display stand for his alt mode and he looks pretty.

I just completed series 2 of the 90s flip-head Power Rangers this weekend which consists of the White Ranger and and the Red, Black, and Yellow Rangers with the heads of the "new" actors who replaced the original cast. They are a lot more scarce than the heavily-produced series 1.

That's it. Nothing too crazy I don't think. I don't collect for profit and I rarely keep tabs on what my stuff is worth, so there might be something more rare that I just don't remember or know about right now.

Never had naked Cheetah but I did have a complete Gigantia and Zan and Jayna with Gleek but I sold them a while ago.

Hmm. Probably the SDCC X-Force Archangel. Although I'm sure it's dropped in value now that a new one was finally announced.

I've got the Toy Biz BAF Sentinel too, but I don't know that it's all that rare.

I'm sure I've got some that I don't even know are hard to find.

Not mine, but a friend of mine has the Titanium Series Jango Fett that was only released in Australia and New Zealand.

After a quick eBay search, either MAFEX Nightwing or Captain America.

I used to own several expensive Mezco figures, including the original Punisher, but sold them once they became too valuable. My brain won't let me appreciate a figure once it becomes too expensive. If I can fuck up an irreplacable $300 toy, I'd rather not own it. That's the trouble with being a neurotic.

Mezco:

punisher

Joker w orange vest

Armored batman

Nightmare batman

Super powers:

Green arrow on Canadian card
Mr. Miracle on card
Shazam loose w card and cape
Samurai loose complete

SEALED MOC CYBORG baby.
Only got that last year. Was a grail for 30 years

A whole bunch of Fans Toys 3rd party Transformers.
I’ve no idea of their value at this point.

They definitely-look- and -feel-expensive tho
🤷🏾‍♂️

Probably the first Mezco Punisher and the very first Mezco TDKR con exclusive Batman.

I had the DCUC Wonder Twins and Gleek, but sold almost my entire DCUC collection years ago.
