Tracking toy tariffs

and the insane idea that all low value packages contain illicit drugs
drug cartels don't bother packing small amounts of stuff and into other people's packages

then there is this

right attack poor sick people's medicine supplies now
It's cool, I talked to my parents last night and my dad assured me that me and my Canadian friends are woke libtard snowflakes poisoning Minnesota with our wildfire smoke (that Ontario can control the jetstreams and has reversed windmills to aim them at America), and Trump has fixed America and the news is lying to me, even Fox News is fake now because of Epstein, and is blowing up family chat with BabylonBee memes about Hitler having Great Jeans.

Oh man...your parents and mine could hang out. The amount of crazy that comes out of my mom and dad's mouths is staggering.

HLJ sent an email this morning that essentially said they are unsure if their previous recommendation to use Japan Post is effective and they will not enforce the 6 month "Private Warehouse" limit.

HLJ is forced to suspend their 6 month Private Warehouse every time Trump is in office.

Not sure if I should dump all my preorders at HLJ. The only order at AmiAmi is the SHF ANH Obi-Wan. The first release will have to be good enough, so I'll probably ignore their invoice. The sticky order I have is SHF Scarlett Spider at Hobby Genki. I unexpectedly paid in full.

I hate this tariff nonsense. Wish the courts would hurry it up and come to a decision already instead of delaying it.

I have a lot on preorder with HLJ and there's just some stuff I won't be able to get stateside. So I need to keep the preorders. I guess I am going to have to eat that (minimally) $80 charge on top of the tariff once I ship them out.

My issues are nothing compared to what small businesses have to face though. It all just sucks. That walking colostomy bag is the worst. His cabinet of clowns included.

I had never heard of Babylon Bee until you just referenced it. They explicitly call themselves satire, which is implicit in their tag line of "fake news you can trust"--are you suggesting your parents are taking their content seriously?

Which isn't me trying to knock your parents. I could absolutely see my mom and stepfather thinking that site was real if they were computer literate enough to have ever discovered it.

I got that too, and I don't get what they're thinking with extending the private warehouse beyond 6 months. Are they suggesting they'll hold stuff for 3 years until Trump might be gone, or just until he's changed his mind again? I assume it's the latter, but I couldn't really tell what they were thinking.

I know a lot of folks who use the Babylon Bee the way “regular folks” use the Onion: satire, yes, but to make a “point”.
