Tracking toy tariffs

I'm looking at the Palisades Muppets and NECA Resident Evil lines, myself. Have regretted selling those for years, so it'll be nice to get them back.

I found this guy back in January. My mom is Irish, with that Irish sense of humour, so I figured he would give her a laugh. Sure enough he did and we enjoy watching his shorts.

Anyway he has a very Irish take on the tariffs.........heads up warning....... some swearing so if someone is sensitive to that don't watch:

I've never been on tik Tok, but my wife, DarthDre758, and a coworker all knew me well enough to show me many of his posts, and yes he is gold.

OOoooooooo.........good call. Forgot about them.
Another thanks to DarrhDre758, but I've been watching a lot of Secret Galaxy on YouTube lately and they had one on Dinoriders. There was part of me that would love to hunt those down, and Mask. And Visionaries..and yah even Sky Commanders heh.

the fact that the administration has put a 90 day delay on the initial round of tariffs (save China) makes me wonder if eventually the China stuff will be rolled back, though not before a few more months of bad headlines and economic misery.

obviously it would be nice if none of this happened at all but just thought I'd throw that out there. and contrast with 2008 and 2020, kinda nuts that so much of this economic turmoil is because of one (1) guy. (well, one guy and the people enabling him but you know what I'm sayin')

This is so cool of them. Makes me glad for the few figures I have preordered through them.

I found a couple of Visionaries at my folks' house las month and it almost made me spiral into an eBay spree.

Apparently they also still have the core three figure from Centurions from when I was a kid. ZERO parts, just the guys.

Still though, what a find!
If they were to do Visionaries at 1/12, I would probably have to go all in. Maybe even vehicles.

I never had any Visionaries. I did have a couple of Supernaturals. They seemed so ahead of their time for me. I really thought that was a cutting edge toy.

I loved Visionaries! Despite growing up poor my single mom found a way to get me some great figures. I had Cindarr, Cryotek and Witterquick.

I would definitely buy some 1/12 updates if they came out.

I'm trying to shed a big chunk of my collection due to space restrictions. 1/12 Visionaries would definitely impede any progress on that front.

I remember seeing Visionaries at super discount at KB Toys as a kid - presumably after the show was cancelled. I wish I had had the money to buy them then.

The vast majority of the space devoted to vintage figure displaying in my figure room vastly outweighs my modern displaying. I just can't seem to box those things up. On a very rough average I'd say my display space is roughly 45% vintage GI Joe, 20% vintage Star Wars, 30% other (vintage TMNT, MOTU, Transformers, 90s Star Trek, 90's Power Rangers and other odd 80s and 90s stuff). I have a NECA street diorama that I rotate the modern stuff in and out of on occasion.
