What: Toy Fair International, the largest and most comprehensive toy industry trade show in the Western Hemisphere

Where: Javits Center, 445 11th Ave, New York, NY 10001.

When: Feb 14-17, 2026

Why: "Snakes ... why did it have to be snakes?"

So Toy Fair is coming up later this month in New York city, and I hope the attendees will remember to pack their arctic gear. The thing you should remember about Toy Fair is that it is NOT a fan event like SDCC or NYCC. It's an industry trade show that is not open to the general public. You have to be a member of the press or an industry professional to get in there. Of course, that hasn't stopped some fans. Because "fan" is short for fanatic and let's face it. We have our ways.

Will Hasbro and Marvel Legends be there this year? Most likely. Here's a recap of what they had on display last year courtesy of Marvelous News:

Hopefully they'll have some stuff to show us this year but we'll see.

FYI: Last week there was a Toy Fair in Germany. Nuremberg, Germany. Which seems ... appropriate somehow. I hope everyone that was involved in DC Universe Classics was prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for their heinous crimes against humanity.

On his X account, Dan was asked "Anything for the Toyfare?"
He responded "but toyfair isn’t really meant for like big legends drops anymore"

I'd reckon we'll get some decent reveals either right before with physical product displayed at the show, or some time after. A general Toyfair thread could be good, though.

Well, that's okay. Maybe they'll do a live stream from home on Toy Fair weekend. We'll see.

I had a look back at last year’s TF news feeds, and it looks like the only new reveals were the Doom cosplay helmet and X-Force Archangel. On which basis, I’m setting my expectations at floor level for this year.

I do think there’ll be a February stream that actually brings the goods though.

Presuming that there's very little revealed at ToyFair this year, which I agree is likely, I'd imagine the livestream will happen after it so they can hype whatever it is they reveal at ToyFair in addition to some new reveals.

Next week's livestream is probably where the reveals will be and the actual display will just offer a chance to lay eyes on some of those reveals. The show is probably a more appropriate venue for them to show their non-Legends product, i.e. the stuff they need to actively market to retailers. Legends kind of sell themself these days.

I predict they'll hold something back from the Fan Stream to reveal at ToyFair, like Smart Hulk.

ML reveals via next Tuesday livestream are fine. I dont need them to reveal stuff also at Toy Fair. plenty of other toylines will reveal product at Toy Fair, so I’ll have enough to look at next weekend. We’ll just get to see ML a few days before all the other brands.

This.

Indeed. It's not a bad strategy too. On Tuesday, Hasbro basically gets all of the attention for its reveals rather than being among the many later in the week.
