Pretty solid list! Which Motoko do you mean with classic? Original movie? Or manga? We'll more than likely get a manga-esque Motoko soon to coincide with the new anime. And we do have that Hyper Body Motoko that just came out, but I imagine it's not the go-to look. I've always wanted an SAC style Togusa, though. Hopefully we get him and Batou from Hiya Toys. I'd also love an Urd from Ah! My Goddess, VHD ofc (we just got good pics of the upcoming third party D today, check 5K). And Ranma and any other Rumiko series desperately need (affordable) figures.
GE999 is a good call though. One of my biggest toyline pipe dreams has been a line that does all the lead characters of Shotaro Ishinomori, Osamu Tezuka, Go Nagai, Leiji Matsumoto, etc works. Harlock is my most wanted from Leiji.
I get it, though. Personally, I have a pretty easy time rocking with anything from any medium so long as it's fun and/or has a character tailored towards me, and always enjoy some bits and pieces of all the biggest current mainstream stuff. But I wouldn't be absolutely in love with anime/manga if it weren't for Guyver, Kazuhiko Shimamoto, and all those aforementioned oldhead authors.
Chainsaw Man and Dandadan are pretty easy things to point to as standouts, they're made by guys like us who love the things we do. Half the time I was reading Chainsaw Man I was thinking "Oh, this guy LOVES Devilman". I still need to read Dandadan, but I'm a huge fan of Ken Takakura especially (had an on and off crush on him for over half a decade) so I'll 100% get something out of it.
