Ok. I have some things to say about this guy.
This is Fancy Realm's second in their Chinese mythology series. This is NeZha. He's a really cool character, and a good looking figure. That being said, I had several problems with mine.
The first bump I ran into is one of the bases he came with. He actually came with 2 since I got the Deluxe version, and I did wind up using the Deluxe stand. That being said, he came with a lotus stand that would have been neat to display him with. The problem is that it came in 3 pieces, and won't stay together! I did wind up getting it to look decent, but if you try picking that thing up, it's just going to fall apart.
The second thing is that one of his flaming wheels for his feet came backwards on mine. I'm gonna contact 5Ktoys and see if anything can be done, but if not, I still think he looks decent the way I have him.
The third thing is that, you have to get his accessories in just the right spot for his hands, and since I got the 6 armed version, this was a little annoying. Getting all 6 hands to hold stuff was a little bit of a pain since I would accidentally knock something out fixing something else. Once I got them all in though, it looks great.
The next bit was my biggest problem, and is something they really should have worked out before releasing. His extra arms plug into a slot on his back. The problem is that they just kept falling out. Just trying to get his arms in, and all of his accessories in his hands was a nightmare. I "fixed" this by just using Blu Tack on the peg foe his extra arms. After that, it was so much easier.
Now, with all of this complaining, I still really like this figure. Their first Figure in this line, Leizhenzi, is amazing, and I had zero complaints for him. So it's a bit of a bummer to see there be so many problems for this guy. I'm still glad I have him. He looks great all done up, and having him in my little Chinese mythology section feels and looks great.
He's a good figure, you just sadly have to put in a little work to make him work. That's a dealbreaker for some, but not me. And, I'll say it one more time, I absolutely love the way he looks after finishing him.
