Third Party Figures

Thanks for the thoughts on the line - this barbarian figure in particular really jumps out at me (she's up at BBTS too) and I think I can live without going back into the line since the older figures are so expensive. Kind of curious as a one-off or maybe a sometimes-off but hadn't had any in-person experience with the series of figures. (The lion-man gladiator looks fricken boss, too.)

I collected the line from the start and have all of the figures. I love them. Just be careful when switching feet. Pegs are prone to breaking if not heated up first. Otherwise I haven’t had any issues.
 
Thanks, guys. I just preordered the barbarian - the aesthetic is just way too perfect to pass up given you're all happy with the line. Eyeballing if there's any figures in stock I could scope out early too.

If I missed the preorder boat on that Frostthroat orc at 5ktoys,
1. are there other retailers?
2. are these generally obtainable upon release, even if preorders sell out?
3. Is eBay hopeless upon release, or do these not appreciate that much?
4. Does Mety Toyz reissue prior figures?

Not sure I dig the beard on that Tauren but like most everything else.

The "Grandmaster" is genuinely awesome.

And speaking of Xesray — I'm a big fan of the minotaurs that are still available on 5K Toys. I have Thales and love him, though I'm terrified to swap out his hands and feet. But he's a great figure.

I see most people going to Ali Express.

I have had luck finding them on Amazon. Sometimes you have to jump countries, but they do exist and sometimes at reasonable pricing. Sometimes you also have to find another figure on Amazon, and then when you look at it, it will have the variety options underneath and that's how you figure out that that retailer has all the other options available. You know like it'll just say we have the murloc, and then you click it, and it turns out they have all the orcs available as well as color options or something.

But mostly I would just do 5K.

I would not say they are generally attainable because they are small run and hard to find. But again. AliExpress.

I would not f*** with eBay.

They have not been along enough to reissue anything. In fact, they change their name and fly by night to avoid legal repercussions. Officially no. If you look on sites like Ali, something is always within reach.
