While I didn't vote for him, I'm glad others are voting for Olivier Coipel's Thor redesign. I think it's one of the best Thor costumes ever, with or without sleeves. He definitely needs a redo, and I wouldn't complain if it came out in the Maximum line with alternate heads (one with no helmet), hands and arms, Mjolnir, Jarnbjorn, lightning effects, a belt strap for Mjolnir, and Frog Thor.

That's what I would want out of a Maximum figure going forward, so hell yeah to that.

Just because Hasbro built them off the same body, didn't mean it was the right thing to do.

I know I'm really splitting hairs here, but as someone who loves both of these runs, I want all 4 Thor's done properly.

The belt, tunic, and helmet are all different. The armor on the legs doesn't wrap the leg fully on Ribic's costumes.

Marvel Select got these two costumes very right with not a single part shared between them.. Hasbro should follow their lead:

Hard agree. I don't want Hasbro to take the cheap-ass approach of thinking a few swappable parts is 'good enough' for two quite different costumes.

Nor should they re-use Herald Thor just because it has armored arms and legs.

I agree. Great runs.

Where I am coming from is if we're doing a Thor Maximum, I would expect swappable hair (we've already done with Drizzt even before Joes) and helmets, some level of swappable parts and overlays just for the sheer customization of it, hammer options, lightning, and a wired cape. And for selfish reasons, I'd want the armored Coipel version as the baseline. It's my favourite look of all Thors.

And you're right, the two suits are very different, and in an ideal world they would give us separate Thors. In the world I live in, they don't even keep Wolvie, Spidey, and Cap evergreen, let alone Thor, so I just don't see four Thors happening in a timely manner, if at all.

Pulling for your dream, though, because we really don't have enough comic Thors, and I also exist in a space where most Legends figures pre-21 or so have a quality gulf that jumps out to me, so I want everything redone.
