The Legend of Zelda by Hasbro

I know nothing about the characters at all, but they look nice. Don't know that I've seen Link in blue before.

Hopped on Pulse seeing if Boomerang was up early and see these going on sale at 8pm EST. That's.... weird. Don't recall them doing that before.

A bit disappointed with the assortment, but the figures themselves look to be the best things Hasbro has ever put out. Oh well, hopefully we get some older games soon. Would have preferred her opening outfit, but I'll grab just Zelda for now.

I'm going to assume that's the case so I don't get my hopes up.
Folks, he got his hopes up anyway.

I'm glad we're finally getting some mass-market Zelda toys for those who didn't want or couldn't afford the Figma versions, but I had my heart set on an Ocarina Link. Maybe wave two? Please, let me kid myself.

I guess I'll at least get a shot at Zelda for under $100, even if she's basically a statue.

Been out of the gaming loop for a while? Sadly, it's been his main color since 2017.

Also a little dissapointed, but they do look really nice for the price and it makes them way more accessible than the Figmas.

I did notice that Link doesn't have his scabbard for the Master Sword though, they must have been on quite a tight accessory budget (having said that, I could never get the Figma to work with both the scabbard and cloak in a way that didn't look super janky).

Hopefully these should do really well and that Ocarina of Time wave is just around the corner... After the inevitable movie wave 😄

Not too long. Just since my Atari 2600.

However, just about 2 weeks ago I saw all the Tomb Raiders were remastered and I bought them and also downloaded the demo of Pragmata. Holy shit, is that game amazing visually. I SUCK at using a controller because I've never used one before, but If I can get the demo down, I'm buying the full version.

Well damn, this is super interesting that the license went to Hasbro, but the results are incredible. I'm a huge Zelda fan and it'll be nice having figures that are both quality and affordable. God, I'm gonna buy every single thing in this line, I just know it.

And there's just about no way we're not getting Ocarina looks with the remake coming this year.

As someone who cannot get the feel for mouse-and-keyboard gaming because I was raised on a controller, this broke my brain.

Thinking on it more, I'm perfectly fine with this opening. TotK and BotW are two games I'm absolutely exhausted of and don't particularly like that much as games, but I'd rather have a cohesive set to open off the line with than three random Links or different designs for Link/Ganon/Zelda. There's no way this isn't getting followed up with a proper assortment of characters in the future.
