Super Powers

This line continuing is the best news I could get from Toy Fair. EE exclusive means they cost more now, but at least the line can keep moving forward. Fingers crossed that they start the series off right with an all-female wave. I personally really want classic Batgirl, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy the most.

Yeah, curious to see where this goes. Don’t mind paying a bit more if they deliver new characters, and I think EE will manage his better than McFarlane did with the last wave.

I don't have space for 'em, but I'd love to see more vehicles. Comic accurate Bronze Age Batgirl cycle would be fantastic, or the Jokermobile shown in the original Super Powers mini comics...

Even though they're not for me, I'd honestly love to see them make some playsets sorely missing from the line. That recent mock-up Daily Planet hideout from the recent variant DC issues or the Titans Tower, OA, and Darkseid lair from the original Kenner plans.

Glad to see this line continue. A little bummed it’s only on EE, which I haven’t had the best experience with, though.

I want the Darkseid Tower of Darkness above all else, I’ve literally wanted it for 40 years now. There is a 3D printed version on Etsy, but I’m not really liking Darkseid’s face, which is such a big part of this. Still, I may end up with that one anyway.

Back when I collected all DC (until thinning down the collection to just Batman), I had a near complete set of Super Friends. I had Super Amigo Cyborg instead of the standard, and never tracked down Golden Pharaoh, but I had everybody else. Back then I would've been a customer for the Darkseid Tower for sure (and I would've freaked out over Invisible Jet!). These days I don't need it, but I really want it to be made.

I still can't shake the need for that Jokermobile, though. I read that mini comic over and over as a kid!

I'd actually buy into the line a bit if they started making some female characters.

It's legitimately fucking insane to me that we have Animal Man and Deadman but not Batgirl, Catwoman, or Super Girl.
Definitely. I'm all about getting B-list characters, but it's wild what they haven't made here. Supergirl was in the planning stages for Wave 4 of the old Super Powers line, you'd think she'd be an obvious release. They've done 80's Nightwing and Cyborg, but no Raven, Starfire, or Wonder Girl (although to be fair, no Beast Boy or Kid Flash, either). Tons of Lanterns with no Jessica Cruz, Katma Tui, Star Sapphire. Just so many names that easily pair up with stuff they've already released.

From the Kenner Super Powers Facebook group, posted by someone who indicated that they met with McFarlane Toys today at Toy Fair.

Someone else noted in the same thread that they’ve seen unreleased sculpts of female figures, and Daniel Pickett of AFI posted ages ago in the same group (when the line was still active), buried deep down in the comments where most people likely didn’t see it, that female figures were on the way.

Could be interesting… We’ll have to wait and see.

But for the Invisible Jet and the Batman helicopter, I haven't touched Todd Super Powers. But I will happily buy some females to add to my vintage figure if they are done well. That's a big "if", though.

I hope they have enough figures per wave to qualify for free shipping. I usually don't buy from Entertainment Earth.

I hope they continue being more classic and having more women. I’d love to get more villains that were in the original line. I think McFarlane actually did a pretty good job at getting out new versions of the classic heroes but not the villains. (Would love a classic Green Arrow, though!)
