Star Wars Black Series

I knew Ru could give us the straight sauce on Daddy Boba.

That said: I love this figure so much and I can’t put him down. Such a grail for me from the past several years. I absolutely love BoBF (when it is actually focused on Fett, fuck dem Mando episodes) and this is my most-wanted D+ character, and I’m glad this figure delivers on fun.
 
Not sure if this picture is really capturing it, but this Dash's chin is much less HUGE.

It looks a lot better. Not sure if it's closer to the source material people wanted, but as a portrait, it's a lot better. Wonder if they did a running change or if it's just a mold issue.
 
Wanna throw a thanks for the head's up about the Halloween two-pack being marked down - I've been hemming and hawing about buying it but was able to get it for 17 bucks on Amazon last night and really, hard to pass up two gimmick figures and an alien sidekick for under 20 dollars total.
 
I love that Mace/Palpatine set. It's so cool. Sure, we have Mace, but who can't use more Mace and another purple lightsaber. Then The Senate is just an awesome, fun prequel figure.

I have Boba Fett and Kenobi final battle Vader now from Pulse. Hopefully Ventress and Jango ship soon. I really want that Ventress. I even pre ordered 2 of her in case I want to play with it more than once.

So I got those Halloween figures. They're pretty cool, but a little annoying. Frankensteins monster doesn't have guns for his holsters. And I can't find any that fit them. And the lightning effects don't stay on the guard staff well.

Dracula didn't come with a lightsaber. I kinda get that, but I would've preferred he did since hes in Inquisitor garb and because its cool to have Star Wars Dracula be a Sith. So I named him Darth Drakoola and gave him an extra Reva saber I had. Looks much better then just having that little knife and what I assume is a wizard wand (why does he have a wand?). And no up down wrists. Le sigh.

The Dathomir Witch is fun. I like the colors and the look, the lightsabers being purple and orange. Very cool. She has the same issues as Asajj since they're the same figure. No up down wrists on her either. But otherwise shes solid. Mine does have this weird black spotting on her feet. My friend said looks like either she was burned (fitting for a witch i guess?) But looks too spotty to be that, or something contaminated the plastic in the mold. I can't sand it off or scrape it off with an exacto knife so I think I may just paint them black or white. Trying to match the color is gonna be too hard. But I'm also not sure of I should do just the feet or the whole leg. The black spots are extremely noticeable.

Also I decided to take these just to see myself, and to show you guys, if anyone was curious.

According to Yakface, the wave with jedi Dooku, Quinlan Vos, Kyle Katarn, etc is arriving in the US. So, we might get them in hand sometime in January or February.

I'm really excited about this Wave. All saber wielders, and Quinlan and Kyle, two of my biggest wants, are both in this. But I do still need Pulse to finish the last Wave for me. I got Boba and Vader, but I still need Ventress and Jango.
