Got Barriss and Dash from Amazon today and love them both.
I'm pretty sure Barriss completes my list of female Jedi I badly wanted but was never allowed to have as a kid because of my Dad's stupid, sexist rule. At least the ones that appeared in the AOTC/ROTS toyline, anyway, which are the ones I wanted most as a kid because of how cool they looked. I'd still love to see them tackle Adi Gallia/Stass Allie, but I was able to sneak the Stass Allie with speeder figure as a kid, so she feels a little less important. But still-
super easy chance for part reuse on Hasbro's part.
I digress. She's a relatively simple figure when it really comes down to it, but she looks really good with all the others, especially Luminara. I just always think of them together whenever I think of one. There was always an added air of mystery to Barriss for me, since she got a 12 inch doll/figure in the ROTS line but didn't appear in the movie, and I didn't watch TCW until a few years ago.
My most wanted Jedi are now Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar, and I have a feeling that'll only double after the office duel set comes out. After that, I feel like anything else is gravy. Would still love at least Stass/Adi, Yaddle, Quinlan, and, since the mold exists now, a Coleman Trebor, but they all feel a little less imperative to me.
Just like Xizor, I was never familiar with Dash growing up. He looked cool as I ogled all the SotE artwork, but that's about it. His bio on the back of the box is about all I know about him, but it's still a really nice figure. Likeness-wise, he strikes me as a cross between Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Prince Charming from Shrek; must be the hair and the jaw.

Really dig his colors, and something about that quilted look just takes me back to being a kid- I feel like I had a lot of different figures with quilted uniforms.
Would love to see Kyle Katarn next- yet another character I have no attachment to other than the adventures I made up in my head from the art, but he feels needed.
