Star Wars Black Series

I wish they would try Rancor again in the MTO format Marvel is using.
This just feels like the logical thing to do. They know how many people tried to back it last time and can assess if it's viable or not.

I got Merrin in the mail today. She turned out really well. I'm glad to have her and I hope they keep releasing characters from The Jedi: Fallen Order/Survivor Games.

I'd still love to have the Nineth Sister, and I really want Jaro Tapal, Cere Junda, and Eno Cordova. Oh, and Taron Malicos.

@Sgt. Stinky That's kind of what happened to me. I avoided getting the new Luke and Leia and then they revealed Han and Chewie (I already had the newish R2) and it just ruined my resolve knowing I could get updated, really nice-looking versions of almost the entire original cast. Just need that new Threepio and old Ben. C'mon Hasbro.

Don't listen to Damien, he's a master of evil.

He made me go home and rethink my life about buying Savage Crucible.
I patently refuse to be the only one going broke from toy purchases that I definitely didn't need and only bought because everyone else showed me how cool stuff was.

It is a slippery slope! I would also have to have all updated original trilogy figures. I can easily skip the prequels and recent stuff....but the originals are my childhood and teenage years. If they had looked like this from the get go I would have never got rid of them probably.

It's not a slippery slope. C'mon.
It's like... one of those twisty slides. Just enjoy it.

Found a lone Ghost Guard at Target. Haven't gotten around to opening him yet, but even in the package he looks really cool. Absolutely love the little goblin/vampire Bogling too. As a big spooky season guy, I'm so happy to finally have one of the Halloween figs. Really looking forward to the mummy trooper too.

Been on something of a creative/crafty kick lately, and we just had our first Hobby Lobby open up in Manhattan. Slowly dipping my toe into customizing a bit, so I got one of the liquid chrome paint markers to try out on Phasma, and holy heck, what an improvement. Obviously I have no idea what I'm doing, so my little swirls and rubs made the paint a little inconsistent, but I actually kinda like that better- gives it kind of a built-in weathered look. Did the same with a couple spare lightsaber hilts just to try out, and they really pop too. Might grab a couple more silver ones and a gold one to try and do 3P0.

Going through some stored figures, some of my older lightsaber blades just dissolved or broke at the insert pin. Not bent or anything, just done with it, I guess.

What's my best third party saber solution?

Curious to know that myself. The ones they come with are so flimsy and a little thin if you ask me.

Yeah. They thickened them up a few years ago and those are solid.

But the older Luke/Anakin saber, the one that runs with Mara and Jaina... I'd like to replace those.

How long were they in storage? I actually just reorganized my figures that aren't on display recently and while I didn't see them crumbling, I almost felt like some of the sabers were... fading to clear? I always kind of wished htey didn't do the removable lightsaber bit just because that tiny nub that connects the saber and hilt never feels like it's going to stand the test of time.

Not even a year.

And it's just the older skinny ones. Cool closet. Shoebox. Room is climate controlled.

The ones that were still attached were sagging and then separated as I went to investigate.
