NGL, I'm going to use him as a weirdo Mon Cal in my aliens section same way I use the winter Wookiee and Ewoks as regular aliens.
 
Oh for sure; aside from the scale printing on his outfit, there's nothing that really makes him all that dissimilar from regular Mon Cala. I'm sure there's a green one out there somewhere. That's the mark of a really good holiday figure- one that can double for just a regular figure too
 
I totally get that...which is why I have the conundrum. My Creature collection has toys of the Gill-Man, but also other characters dressed as him like Leonardo and a Minion, so it's tempting to throw him in with those, but he also works as a background Mon Cal. Decisions, decisions...
 
I like the Mon Cal look better than the “actual” aliens in the movies. The color difference to me, is just ethnic diversity among their species. I fully plan to pick one up.
The other two are fun, but not as pressing. The hat on the “force ghost” sand person is funny. I might consider one if the hat is removable.

They usually are. I like the Togruta but I don't know where id put her. Maybe next to the Duras Frank monster? Make them a pair of nut job mercs who go around terrorizing small towns in the outer rim.

The Mon Cal I might pick up and do my first paint custom. I just want him to have a different color shirt. Otherwise he'd be great as part of my growing shelf of personal Glup Shittos.
 
In a year where most of the figures are pretty darn great, the Halloween offerings look pretty sweet too. Huh. Interesting.
