Mostly pleased with the livestream. I think the only real surprise was the new IG-12. Can't say it was on my want list, and I can't say it's on my must have list. But hey, it was a much better sculpt than the original IG-88.
The Snowtrooper looks nice. Cool that they're doing something akin to the Hoth and Endor trooper with the swappable parts. Might get 2, if only to have 1 regular Snowtrooper for the OT shelf and one Remnant
Zeb looks good. I do wish the other head was a bit more mean looking instead of a kinda "do you smell that?" face, but at least they're giving us swappable heads at all for once!
Mercenary Droid looks really nice. Just such a cool, fun design. If they were already doing swappable heads for Snowie and Zeb, I wish they could've done one here too, but this B-1 seems to be the one they're using for most of the marketing and such. Hope we see at least one or two more- the Super Battle Droid getting a TVC figure is promising. But hey, if nothing else, it's money saved. I only feel the need to army build in the sense that I'd want one of each design, but not multiple, per se.
Grogu looks cute. Love that they're bringing back the tiny little box. At the very least, there feels like enough new parts to warrant it this time around. Hopefully it won't be the same price as the others, but I'm expecting it to be.
Embo is the winner of the wave for me, though. Wish they could've done the mix of softgoods and plastic like they did for TVC, but I'm just happy to finally have him. Such a cool design and such presence. Wouldn't surprise me to see a deluxe version some time in the future with his pet either.
I could take or leave the First Edition boxes, but I'm happy for the in-box collectors who want that continuity. Sounds like we'll have another livestream in just a few weeks, and a busy June. With the specific mention of Father's Day (though sounds like the stream would be before then) I wonder if that's when they'll reveal the theoretical Rotta, given how much he mentioned his father in the movie.
