Looks great in the box. Tossed him in a closet until Monday, lol. Treating it like it's Christmas.
 
Even though that AT-RT is in the SDCC set, I think we are still scheduled to get one from the Mandalorian and Grogu movie. And they definitely did keep mentioning how there are so many uses for the vehicle with all the different AT-RT looks.

But I was really surprised today by what we got to see. I was really expecting all Mando and Gu merch. Instead, Clone Wars and KOTOR. That was pretty epic.
 
Why does Carth have pins? Still, absolutely thrilled with KotoR figures.

Also, I never played as a female in KotoR 1, but I don't ever remember hearing about being able to romance Juhani. In KotoR 2 you can kind of romance Kelly Hu as a female, but it was sort of bare bones iirc. But its been a while since I played the 2nd one. I have the strat guide book for the first game too, and it doesn't say anything about romancing Juhani that I remember. It was always Carth as a female and Bastila as a male, for romance options. But if there's a hidden way to romance Juhani I would play a female for a run to see it. That would be sweet. I also sometimes would use the level up glitch to make Mission a Jedi so I may throw a lightsaber her way after I get her. She is 100% little sister energy. And Satile is just awesome. So stoked for more old republic stuff.

I don't wanna have to buy new versions of all my Clone Commandos. I have both full squads of Delta and 99. I know Hunter would be the only 99 needing redone, but still. I have a ton of clone commandos, I don't wanna have to replace them all. But its good they're trying ro fix things that aren't as good as they could be I suppose. The Hasbro model of making us rebuy the same character and figure over and over with slight improvements is apparently working.

Feels like a pretty easy reuse of parts too, at least for Kay. I'm sure between all the various females- Jyn and Leia especially- there's parts they could toss in for her. Such a shame that game didn't get the love it deserved. Not a perfect game by any means, and I get the trepidation around Ubisoft, but for being the first open world Star Wars game, I thought it was a ton of fun. I was shocked when I popped into the Disney Store this past week and they had a little Nix plush (or at least the same species). It was the first acknowledgement I'd seen of anything from that game since it dropped.

I always had a feeling Watto was in the closet.

Still bugs me that they threw him in an AOTC box, but with his TPM look. If they'd just thrown in a hat, even if he didn't have the stubble or longer vest, I could've excused it. Do I have any right being annoyed by it, since I'm going to throw out the box? No. But it's the principle of the thing.
 
Pins mean older legs and possibly has thigh swivel, the articulation removed in new pinless legs.

I have no attachment to KOTOr but have some figs and the Twilek looks great! All the figs look great. Not preordering but in time may cherry pick.

The new beefy Commando is something I will preorder. Shocked they revisited and did the fig right. Great stuff. The other Clone commanders look good. Probably. Sure did give fans stuff to talk about and be excited about.

I fuckin' caved instead of waiting til May the 4th to open the three figures that showed up today ()but in my defense I needed to get the packaging into the recycling bin and out of the way. All three are absolutely fantastic. I don't NEED the moving wing effects but it's a unique, fun option and I appreciate the work they put into it. I had no idea this is what Kaminoan legs looked like and it makes them all the more alien and surreal. Taun We could've come with... anything else for accessories, but otherwise beautiful figure. Watto is almost too clean, looks like someone forced him to bathe before an event, but can't knock anything else about him. Although any time SWBS includes something as tiny as the die he comes with I'm like "you're just doing this because you know X percentage of us will re-buy the figure when we lose it..." (See also the space mouse from SMEE). And the geonosian is really a highlight for how good they are at aliens when they want to be. A shame he's too expensive to army build, but I might include him as a survivor of the war, cut off from the hive mind, working as a mercenary...
 
Got back late last night and discovered all this goodness had been revealed. I am so in for Carth and Mission, love me the KotOR gang. It was the first time a CRPG clicked with me...so I guess the lost 15-20 years that followed are kinda its fault, damn it. I played and played it so much, to a point where I'd basically hold off levelling up beyond the first tutorial time you're forced to, just so I could get to Dantooine and achieve UNLIMITED POWER as a 2 Scoundrel/18 Consular. It made Taris an absolute slog (and could never beat Starkiller in the arena) but oh man, it was worth it to just walk into rooms full of troopers and slam them into walls over and over, or just go Episode 9 Palps on them.
 
Target is running a 30% off sale on most Star Wars stuff - all new stuff seems to apply, including the Imperial Warlord PO.

I barely remember Mission and Carth although my college roommates and I all played KOTOR when it came out. Because they all played male light side, I played as female dark side. I only really remember HK-47, Canderous, and Bastila. But for the sake of it, I’ll probably order these two.

Republic Commando in bulked up armor looks amazing! Just what I always wanted.

Old Republic Trooper looks amazing. And I definitely want Satene. Finally some opponents for Malgus.

AT-RT looks very cool.

Never heard of lf Commander Doom and Commander Thorn, but those designs are awesome. I’d love to get them.

So I'm like, really down in the dumps and I thought hey, I'm gonna get those clone trooper/droid two packs to open on May the 4th, try to find a little bit of hope to kick off the week with by giving myself something fun to do. Turns out Maul isn't streaming early at least where I am, so that little bit of May the 4th didn't work out for me, so I'm like okay, let's do the whole "open a present on Xmas Eve" thing and decided to unbox the two sets at midnight (they showed up this morning).

Crack open the Amazon box and... Some dickweed swapped the Infiltrator clone with a 501st trooper I already have. So now I gotta find time to drop the fucking box off at a Staples to return it. Or, I dunno, maybe it's a factory error, but he's got the blue 501st highlights, Captain Rex's helmet, and there's clearly room in the plastic for the two sidearms the infiltrator is supposed to come with.

Probably should've just returned it but now I'm feeling vindictive. I knew I should've just waited for a clearance sale for these or something.
