I've come around on it being a generic trooper instead of the "iconic" one because this announcement just made me flash back to how much I loved the republic trooper arc in SWTOR. Honestly, I'm blown away that game exists at all - an MMO that, instead of being about grinding and raiding, gives each class a fully realized, dramatic, epic story arc of their very own, with each class getting a ship full of unique, fully voice acted, beautifully crafted companions... The trooper's squad was one of my favorites and I thought I'd have ZERO interest in playing a trooper in a game where you could be two kinds of Jedi and two kinds of Sith.

IIRC I think my top three classes just based on their story's writing were Imperial agent, Republic trooper, and a toss up between bounty hunter and smugger.

(though I'd still love more from the 2 Jedi games and anything from Outlaws).

Kay Vess and Nix feel like a no-brainer and would rock in SWBS format.

I usually dislike two-packs in general (in case you get a dud of one figure) but yeah, the two of them would look great and I bet they could use a lot of Bastilla's parts for Juhani.

Same, though in the case of KotoR we're in luck. It's hard to have a bad pairing unless they just totally phone in one of the figures, and so far this new wave seems to be putting in the work. I wonder if they'd single card a guy like Darth Sion or put him in a 2-pack with somebody.

God, she's my EVERYTHING.

I don't know if I should warn you not to or recommend you definitely do look up what happens to Mission and Zaalbar if you do a Dark Side run. Truly one of the grimmest, most "I hate myself as a player" game choices I've ever seen.

But if you do a Light Side run she's like having a fearless, slightly kleptomaniacal sidekick who brings her own walking carpet sidekick wherever she goes and she's the best. They're all the best. I wish Jolee Bindu was my drinking buddy.

Ok, so many cool Storm Troopers and the SDCC set... WOW! Going to get a couple if I can. Love ALL the troopers.

My main pet peeve...no that's too generous... my main HATE of this line is bare arms with no bicep swivel. Hate that with a burning passion. ARMS CAN'T TURN AT THEIR FUCKING ELBOW!! I absolutely refuse to buy any figures made that way. Baggy shirts like the guy have, fine. I can even let armor pieces slide. But not bare arms.

Nothing really for me today, but that's fine. Everything looks good and I can appreciate these are things other folks like. Love some odd pulls from outside the normal SE canon.

Speaking of 3.75" figures that I'd like in Black Series, I was just thinking yesterday how much I liked my old POTF Garindan figure and seeing the retro today only bolstered that. Would definitely love to get him in 6" sooner rather than later.

Carth and Mission as a two-pack Amazon exclusive on Monday (of course) at 1 p.m. The two named troopers are Target exclusives also on Monday at 1. Satele, Commando, and Trooper are all general release at the same time.

I also love that the first pic is of a starter companion during what amounts to the tutorial and is never seen again, but Wookieepedia has his ENTIRE LIFE STORY posted. Never change, obsessive Star Wars fans, never change. Justice for Trask Ulgo.

(There's an equally fun if less iconic crew from KOTOR 2 who deserves some Black Series love, too.)

Ok what a freaking awesome Star Wars weekend! Watto and crew on the way and will see tomorrow. Can’t wait. I’ve got Lego sets to enjoy with my son. I bought the corny Trooper and t-Shirt as a mascot for weekend. I turned the shirt around to the deco I like. Gonna binge watch Maul again to get ready for final two episodes. Going to enjoy some Star Wars themed food. Going to listen to Mike Kaess and Zak Zak talk Black Series will I open my Black Series. It’s going to be a great weekend. It’ll hopefully end with me getting to buy the Starbucks Endor mug and BDX droid pack on Disney shop on Monday. Gotta complete my set of Tatooine, Hoth, and Endor mugs. Love em! Then eat some Tex-Mex and watch Maul on Monday…

Great weekend to come. Oh excited about some of the Fan Stream reveals. AT-RT you tease me as a SDCC exclusive. Hope to obtain a few.
