Spider-Man Retro 2026 Wave with Cardiac, Owl & Hypno Hustler

I don't care about this wave, but I am happy to see that these are not $30 a piece. Not that $28 is much better, but psychologically, $30 Marvel Legends feels like a bridge too far.
 
With so much product coming out in short order, I made the call to eliminate all my pre-orders for this wave except for Miguel and Hypno Hustler.
 
This is easily one of my favorite waves of the year. I've got all but Spider-Venom pre-ordered. Cardiac, Hypno Hustler and Owl are all no doubter must haves for me. I could have gone either way on Kurt and Miguel.

Owl in particular is a Top 10 Legend of the year for me. We have so few Daredevil rogues. He'll go nicely with Kingpin, Bullseye, Typhoid Mary and Stilt Man.

That, Jester, and a proper Mr. Hyde and Cobra (not the King Cobra version. Marvel dropped the ball by not giving us the parts for both versions with one figure.)
 
I guess there's Mr Fear and Death Stalker as well. I never thought of Mr Hyde as particularly a DD villain but I'd take a proper one of course. I got Benty's custom head which helped but still needs an Inverness cloak. As others have stated a better OG Elektra on a better body, red ninja suit, straight black hair.
 
For early Daredevil rogues we also have Leap-Frog. And he fought Electro as much as, if not more than, Spider-Man.

But yeah I could really do with some more DD foes.

Hyde primarily started as a DD villain before moving on to antagonize other heroes as well. One of my favorite DD issues features Hyde, Cobra, Jester, Gladiator, and Purple Man. (Paladin too).

Deathstalker and Mr Fear are also much needed.
 
Very much in favor of Deathstalker & Mr Fear, also Torpedo, who started as a DD villain before going good guy. I'd love a Copperhead (the Marvel pulp character, not the Serpent guy), but that's a damn deep cut.
