Snow C.A.T. Live!

Seems unlikely but anything is certainly possible. Haslabs have the usual 5 unit order limit, right? That would mean a good handful of accounts ordering and then canceling the max amount each day. As buggy as Pulse is, I’d be surprised if it didn’t prevent them from reordering again after hitting a limit.

Could they still be updating the international orders manually? Maybe the drops are just international cancellations?

Could definitely be a lot of things right down to bugged software that's getting manually adjusted every morning when the HasLab team wakes up ("fuck sake, it randomly added 30 again, why does it keep doing this?!").

If it's a concerted effort by 6-10 guys then.. they're dumb as fuck because that wouldn't be even remotely helpful and seems like a huge waste of time.

I hope I get my Snowcat. I'll be seriously bummed if it doesn't go through :(
Me too. And even though the 'Cat is one of my favorite Joe vehicles of all time.... even I am struggling with the value here if it doesn't reach all tiers. I'm not sure I can convince myself that just the vehicle and driver, and nothing else, is worth the 500+ CAD this costs. I really need to see those other tiers unlock. Especially in the absence of fucking Hasbro having any interest in showing off other snow-themed Joes to go with it.

Right, if you don't get those other tiers, it's just gonna be Frosty and Jobby roaming the frozen landscape in search of fun and sausages.

And Iceberg. He was Name revealed at SDCC.
FOr me the size and troop carrying capacity will make me keep it regardless, but I REALLY want that Bivouac.
Troop carrying capacity with no troops.

Yeah, the bivouac is great. It's a weird spot for the HasLab to be in because the base offering feels overpriced, but the full stretch feels like a legitimately great value.

I will absolutely not use it for urban warfare because I am a complete mark for snow-themed stuff. I just want MORE snow-themed stuff to go with it. Give me more freezy Joes. Right now. Fuck sake, they could have even just announced they were re-issuing Snowjob. I missed out on him.

You guys are nuts, my conspiracy theory works perfectly and I won't change my mind.......oh man I am out of aluminum foil....... :ROFLMAO:

One thing if the Snow C.A.T. does fund but misses stretch goals is that the value could go up on the secondary market if there is only a small amount of them made. I know it isn't anywhere near as popular as say Unicron or the Khetanna, but I would imagine that if it doesn't break 10,000 units it would be a bit more valuable on the secondary market.

Looking at another low backer count Haslab that didn't get all the tiers unlocked (Giant Man) and he is closing in on double his original price on the secondary market. Which is fairly quick since it has been what? A year since it finally shipped to backers? I know it is a bit of a stretch, but I could see the Snow C.A.T. increasing in value by 50% or more short term if that were the case.

And surely there are a few guys they could make new heads and gear for to use on that body. I dunno, Blizzard and such? Did the haslab people catch the other classified guys by surprise with this? Even Iceberg coming up feels like a coincidence.

Not that you're implying otherwise, but this may be true, but is also functionally worthless to anyone that just wants to open it up and play with it and have a cool display piece. I couldn't care if this thing quadrupled in value in the first week I own it. It's going to be open with a bunch of stickers put on it - probably poorly. If I'm making vroom vroom noises on the kitchen floor, it doesn't really matter what someone that never even opened theirs can sell it for on eBay.

Also, you and I both know the aftermarket in Canada is fucking trash. I'd be lucky to sell this thing at 3/4 the original retail, let alone whatever the aftermarket is.

Iceberg was a name-only reveal. It was DEFINITELY the Joe team being like 'oh shit, I guess we should mention a snow guy.' Horrible synergy. They should be embarrassed.

Never change! I love it!

Quiet you!! Keep your logic and real world results to yourself. I'm trying to hype this up to the Americans to get them on board!!

Yeah the "secondary market" I use for examples is basically sold listings on eBay. I am with you that trying to sell in Canada (locally) is an exercise in frustration.

Does anyone else remember Lenny in one of the seemingly dozens of interviews they did in the Hasbro booth mention something about possibly adjusting the missile launcher to have it stand when using the Snow C.A.T. in troop carrier mode? I thought I heard it but of course now I can't find the interview, or response.
