Do I have the space for something like this? No.
Do I own any other HasLabs? No.
Do I have a large/robust Classified collection? No.
Am I going to buy this? Yeah. Goddamn it. I am.
I honestly think it looks amazing. Incredible update to one of my favorite Joe vehicles. And, to be fair, I've always had a soft spot for winter-themed stuff. I was borderline in on this the moment they hinted at it. But seeing it is a whole other deal. Everything is so good here. Even the frost decal on the glass. Awesome.
I do have a few complaints/suggestions if anyone is going to SDCC:
The stones for the campfire look a bit Playmobil there. They really need a black/brown wash.
The figures NEED extra hands. Like, I'm begging for this. If the pitch on this item is that it's as much diorama/playset as it is vehicle, we need gesturing hands (pointing, waving, flat), tighter gripping hands for those skewers (you KNOW the regular Joe hands won't hold those properly), and more open gripping hands for the cups. The vehicle is the star, of course, but giving the figures that extra oomph of display/photo readiness with more than just the standard c-grips is really important.
It would be great if the rocket launcher could stand on its own when not in the CAT. So it can be set up like a fixed missile turret when the CAT is being used in APC mode. That way we can still display the different parts and go even more all-in on the temporary defended camp/bivouac set-up.
But yeah... goddamn. I already told the wife that the toy budget just blew up. Kicking myself for never getting Snowjob now, though. Maybe we'll get a re-issue timed to the HL ship date.
