S.H. Figuarts Marvel Figures

Hahaha, behold the Smol Scott Era. Might be worth checking out the eventual Wolverine though, if anyone's always wanted a truly runty Logan...

There's so much I dislike about this figure, yet I still want to buy it. Forget about the crazy crotch. That thigh swivel is almost always a no. I've been seeing people hold up the girl figure from Romankey and 5K has a preorder for a blank, good lord, get outta here with that design.

The 145mm is an odd choice, not because it's shorter than other companies, but because it's shorter than the listed 150mm of SHF Ryu.

Honestly, there's not a thing I like about that Cyclops.
 
The figure looks perfect outside the colorscheme, it's nearly on point to the Bengus art style. The shorts are janky looking but I can get over that...

But that height is inexcusable. He's shorter than even SHF Ryu, when he's supposed to be half a foot taller than Ryu! He scales with NOTHING. We have two ongoing 1/12 Street Fighter lines at the moment, with Storm Arena releasing three of the exact looks featured in MVC2, but he will be Wolverine's height in comparison to both.

If they start doing an explicit MVC2 line, I'm going to be DAMN disappointed if nobody does Strider, Captain Commando, etc to get the Capcom side of the roster filled out. Just Marvel and Street Fighter characters plus Morrigan and Mega Man really ain't gonna cut it. Maybe I just want a general Capcom toyline, though.

Indeed, MvC2 is worthless to me until "I'm a member of STARs!"

Doesn't matter how small Bandai make him, a Strider Hiryu figure would be an instant scramble to purchase for me. Especially in his MvC design, which is perfection.

Johnny Nostalgia also said (via some connection he has) the number circulating was just a generic placeholder and he should be taller. Didn’t put an actual number on it, but I’d assume he’s relatively in scale with the SF stuff.

All they need to do is Hiryu and Hien and I'd be set for Strider. Maybe Solo as well. Would probably need a general Capcom toyline to have anyone but Hiryu be even a mild possibility, though.
