Holy shit, I'd kill for a Long John Silver from Muppet Treasure Island.

True story: I was cast in a pirate production years ago and when I wasn't PIRATE enough the director told me to go home, watch Muppet Treasure Island, and just do a Tim Curry impersonation.

I need a Cutthroat Island rewatch soon.

They showed a few comparisons to other figures and holy smokes, these are way too big. They should have been at most the same size as Mythic Legions or smaller, but these are basically Mcfarlane-DST sized. I get the Squid Pirate being taller, the monsters being taller, but the humans should have been smaller.

Agreed. There is a line of Pirate figures I would buy into... this is not it at all.

If they just tweaked it a little, no huge sheaths, more pirate-y accessories, and slightly smaller, I'd be all in. I was going to at least get the skeleton and squid, but the size makes it a much tougher sell for me.

7" scale is just a non-starter for me. Wish them the best with the line, but being so out of scale with most of the other lines out there (or at least the ones I collect) makes it an easy pass.

Is it too much to ask to just get some G.I. Joe Classified level of detail pirate figures?
I imagine we'll see pirates in Savage Crucible eventually.

I imagine Mythic Legions will do Pirates one day, I mean they already have most of the parts.
