Do we really not have a thread for Ramen? I know they've come up, but Search says it's always been in other threads.

Anyways, Ace had a live stream earlier and made a couple announcements that caught my eye.

A) I never watched Bravestarr, so have only been half paying attention to their versions of Bravestarr and Thirty/Thirty, but then they revealed this guy:

And my jaw dropped. Bad-ass just by himself and makes me want to go back and rethink the Marshal and 000 (I think they're calling the horse).

2) They announced their next tank based on the vehicle the Mauler was based on.

I don't know why they're calling it the Wolverine (maybe it'll get a sticker we can put on the other, more Wolverine-like tank). I dig that it has two driver positions and a spot in the turret for the commander like a tank should (based on what I saw watching Fury), but the MBT turret from their first tank won't fit on this chassis.

C) One of next years 5th Anniversay offerings will be a re-do of their 80s Commanders, only this time under the actual Centurions license. This time they're adding in the mechanisms from the original line that made the spinny wiggle effects on the gear while keeping to the 1/12 scale. Hopefully that means giving them a little height boost because reviews described them as being a little undertall for the scale.

He talked about other stuff I was less interested in, like a Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am, and the sewer play set. Still no forward motion on the Galaxy Rangers, though.

Looks like the “Super Msuk” street diorama is shipping! I got my fedex notice that two boxes weighing 36.82 lbs arrive tomorrow!

I'm sort of covetous of that street/sewer diorama. It looks dope and is smartly modular, but it's way too big for any shelf I have. I am curious to see if they continue the Dio-Ramen line, quietly hoping for a generic command base/mission control room, but I've no optimism that it'll be sized any better than the sewer.

I didn't get The Marshall, but I LOVE the look of that Hex. I still have my OG figures of the 2 of them, so I really should get some updated versions to go with the other 80s upgraded figures I've been amassing in my adult life.

Man, a Smokey & The Bandit style Trans-Am is one of the last 80s type vehicles I don't have in some form in 1/12th or 1/10th scale.

I've got the DST Delorean and K.I.T.T, Ramen's General Lee and the A-Team van, and the Has;ab Ecto-1, along with all of McFarlane's movie Batmobiles, and Mattel's 66 Barris version.

I have the sewer on order at BBTS, so hopefully that means they get it within the month, and I can just keep it in my POL until we get moved into the new house.

Dio-Ramen … I like that. Never seen that used before
Ace used it once in a livestream and I thought it was great. Somehow it never caught on, though. I keep waiting to see if it turns up on the packaging as an official line name.

Or maybe it sounds too much like committing to a line of dioramas that he's not willing to do. Or maybe I'm over-thinking it.
