NECA - General Thread

I'd planned to get each of the three: Scrooge / Launchpad / MegaDuck when they came with a nephew each. Now that it's NECA trying to squeeze an extra $40 out of us I'm not sure I want them all. Maybe still Scrooge and Launchpad, MegaDuck is more questionable, and the nephews perhaps not at all. Ultimately (pun intended) I just want a properly done DarkWing Duck line, and if it has to come through NECA so be it. But I'm not sure I want to start Disney Afternoon stuff if it's not a sure thing.

I'll probably get Scrooge, because he's my favorite Disney character. I don't need the full Afternoon lineup, but I hope they at least dip into the revival. Give me revival Webby and Glomgold and Della.

So before we get too into the fantasy:

Did they actually say Disney Afternoon, or did they show DuckTales and the theory crafting began?
My recollection from watching a lot of interviews at Toy Fair is that Trevor never stated they had a Disney Afternoon license, but gave the usual line of "If these do well then other Disney Afternoon shows are on the table." I'm assuming they have a general, Disney, license and there probably isn't a Disney Afternoon license apart from the actual branding. Their license likely gives them access to anything at Disney that isn't it's own brand for licensing purposes like Marvel and Disney Princesses and everything is subject to approval.

The DJ mentioned DuckTales on the radio this morning while mentioning other things that debuted the same year. Haven't heard a reference to the show in decades other than the series score being released on CD recently.
