NECA Archie Comics Line

It's because they are corkscrew shaped isn't it? That's fascinating and who wouldn't want to talk about that? Ducks literally screw.
Literally this, and it comes up so often I've had to put a ban on it at some get togethers - "NO DUCKDICK TALK." They are also obsessed with the cloaca.

Just got notice from Walmart that my Archie shelf was about to be enhanced with 100% more duck bulge.

Same. And Walmart charged my card. Says it’s not arriving until 7/17, though.

Hope NECA reveals the ring for sale at SDCC.

(And the toon kitchen.)

Yeah I need the ring. Just don't know where I'm going to put it because all of my currently available shelves aren't going to be deep enough, but I'll figure that out later.

I got the same email. Wasn't sure if it was just an automated thing or actually indicative of it being on-time. We shall see.

A ring would be neat, but I have no interest in what NECA would charge. Especially when I can probably get a WWE or AEW one for pretty cheap if I absolutely had to have a toy wrestling ring. I made a facade for my shelf that's just two painted, wooden, posts with string through them jammed into a foamboard base that has served me just fine.

Best buy has some great sales right now on some NECA toys. There's Archie, and other TMNT lines, but I'm posting here because I got Mondo for $17.50 and Stump Leatherhead for $20.

Honestly, any of the basic Mattel WWE rings will work fine as generic rings.

I'm sure there's someone out there who has, or could 3D print any extras to make it more accurate.

Just got a shipping notice for Ace Duck from Walmart. He and his impressive bulge is scheduled to arrive at my door on Wednesday.

Ace arrived today and he is one hefty figure. He's a little under 7.5" so he's not super tall, just beefy. Presentation is very clean, but don't expect much articulation. Single joints at the elbows and knees, plus the bulk of this guy just doesn't leave much room for things to move. He's going to look best just standing there and looking smug. Or getting cracked in the back of the skull with a chair.

I also got Ace yesterday. This figure is hilarious and looks so cocky.

I got my Ace today too but haven't opened him yet. Still working on my collection inventory and got consumed by that and then it was late so I'll open him tomorrow along with the Howling wolf and my GI Joe firefighters.
