NECA Archie Comics Line

As long as NECA gives us Katmandu & Al'Falqa & Charlie Llama & Tantric Monkeys & a Whirling Dervish Skeleton & yellow Tattoo with Inky like they're giving us El Mysterio (who is NOT a Cryin Houn repaint - it's an all-new mold), then I have the digital scans of those issues, and the TPB I had printed & bound. Art should not be fucking censored when it is offensive, and there is nothing offensive in these issues. These aren't old Looney Tunes or Merry Melodies cartoons reinforcing stereotypes.

But corporations gonna corporate. (I hope everyone pronounced that last word the way I intended, lmao)

And yeah, like I should get tattooed on my forehead, Archie TMNT is my preferred canon. While I can barely afford the releases as is, I really wish they'd step it up. No one is promised tomorrow, and my disabilities are going to kill me long before able-bodied people. This has been my dream line since I was a kid. I want everyone, NECA, please.

Also, the "fan" publishers got Chris Allan back to do Forever War, and while I don't have the Compendium yet, it looks like IDW got him back to do the cover at least? So "replacement art" might not be out of the question, though, that's still fucking censorship, sigh...

And for the record, just in case I wasn't clear, I'm absolutely against censoring art. We're in full agreement there.

This line from NECA has been gold since the jump. When I was a kid, I desperately wanted the turtles in their wrestling gear and I never thought the day would come where I could look on a shelf and see them. Every figure has been stellar, and I'm hoping we see regular versions of the guys soon (I'd also love to see the trees from Stump Wrestling, their names escape me at the moment...Cuddly will never happen, but a wrestling ring with a cardboard backdrop that has him on it floating above the crowd would suffice, I think). I don't think the wrestling figures did all that well, I still see them in most places, but a guy can dream big.
 
I don't need an inscale Cudley, that would be insane. HasLab Unicron insane, lol.

But maybe a vinyl one with an articulated jaw the size of their 1:1 Chucky heads? I feel like that's "small" enough while also being "large" enough to work. I can't afford it right now, but I'd sure as FUCK find a way to afford it once announced, lol.

Stump & Sling. Unfortunately named after two Donalds, lol (though the latter goes by "Don"). (I'm not currently aware of any controversies with Don King, but everyone successful has skeletons in their closet somewhere.)

And, I mean, they've had a ring in their display cases for these figures. If that's not someone else's (altered Mattel's? lol), sell that (though, I want the golden skulls from that cover on the turnbuckle corners lol - they got the spiked balls on the ropes right!).

(Hopefully not Keanu or Bob Ross or Tom Hanks or Mister Rogers or Steve Irwin, though.)

I seriously, not joking, want every unique character in the Universe Sourcebook issues, but I go over my Wrestling "needs" in my Ace Duck review:

And never apologies for the "lols", I use them myself. lol

Stump and Sling, right 🤣 I'd still take them as figures if they were offered up, I just want anything and everything associated with that storyline.
