Does he come with a plastic or cloth cape? And did the original come with plastic or cloth. Mine has plastic but I think maybe I swiped that from someone else.

He comes with a cloth cape. I’m pretty sure the original did too. It’s sewn up well so it’s out of the way around his neck, sometimes it can drape over his shoulder armor.
 
I think maybe I swiped mine from the Super 7 Shredder? Didn't he come with a better cloth cape and also a plastic one? Mine is currently wearing a cloth one so that would make sense that my Neca Shredder's plastic cape came from him.
 
Yes, I’m pretty sure the S7 Shredder came with both a cloth wired cape and a plastic one
 
Indeed - Super7 Shredder came with the fabric cape on the figure and a plastic one in the box to swap to for those that prefer that.


I've been trolling Ali to see if Panda Khan or Shredder pop up but nothing yet. I hope whatever hole in the supply line was creating all that stock on Ali hasn't been closed somehow. That's basically the only way to get these figures in Canada.
 
Found the Haulathon shipper at Target today ... toon Shredder long gone. I'm exercising my buying finger for (hopefully) Friday...
 
I feel like they will save Shredder for the very last Friday. He seems to be one of the main ones everyone is wanting so they'll want you checking every Friday and hopefully buying something to assuage your disappointment.
 
I saw that Neca has now said there will be no more Donnie's labs sent out and they were offering a refund to original form of payment or a store credit with 20% extra. At least that's what I think it said because now I can't find it.

You guys may remember that I was one of the ones originally screwed out of my lab and when this all first hit I picked up one on eBay that I thought was fairly reasonably priced ($406 tax and all).

As my luck would have it Neca got one back from someone who received extra and they decided to send me mine so I was stuck with two of them.

Of course now the prices have skyrocketed on eBay but my plan is to sell this one for what I paid for it. Checking here to see if anyone is interested first before I try elsewhere. I'll start up a thread in the trade forum.

Entirely possible. I just know that what's on this first shipper everyone's finding right now isn't everything that we know about for the whole "event".
 
That is interesting. I figured that once the shipper hit it would have everything in it for the whole event at once and then they'd split everything for the online drops. I finally saw some pictures of the shipper and it looked pretty big. I usually schedule an Atlanta trip during late April, partially to go see a Braves game but partially to hunt Targets for whatever I haven't found online for Haulathon. That gives me hope that some of what I want won't all drop in stores now and be sold out by the time I hit the road.
 
The one I saw today was only one-sided, maybe there a couple of different ones? But I haven't seen, for example, Panda Khan or the Wyrm/Tattoo 2-pack in any of the pics I've seen online of other shippers. Or the Mirage April, or the new Foot Assassin or whatever, the Mirage 4-pack, etc.

Same. From what I've seen, this is definitely not everything we should be expecting. Maybe only about half, maybe even less.
 
Good to be back. I felt extra out of the loop because my laptop shit the bed on me and then Fwoosh went down and I just got my laptop up and running again yesterday. No Haulathon up in MA yet. I last checked on Saturday. I need cat litter so I'll probably take a look tomorrow, but I bet it doesn't go out on the floor until closer to the weekend. I'll be out of town Wednesday - Friday so I may miss it. Mostly only interested in Shredder at this point. The more I look at the two-packs the more I realize I just don't need all of this stuff. Plus I still have to do my taxes and I don't yet know what I'll be owing.
 
Thank my cat for being extra poopy of late because today I ducked into Target for cat litter and found the Haulathon display box. I almost missed it because the store set it up between aisles: sporting equipment and floor lamps. Definitely an odd place to put it. The TargetCon Funko thing has been in electronics and I had been anticipating it going there, but obviously I was wrong. I was heading down to the pet section when the green box barely caught my eye and I decided to investigate thinking it would be nothing, but lo and behold, there it was and barely touched. Given where it's setup I wouldn't be shocked if it's been there a couple days. I don't think I walked by that spot on Saturday when I last checked.

Anyway, for TMNT they only had Shredder, Dark Leo, Hunter Leo, and Battle Damaged Shredder. No two-packs or anything else expected to come with this event. I picked up Shredder, finding one where the crest on his helmet is actually on straight was a bit of a challenge, but I was successful. Too bad the other head with the helmet but no faceguard is crooked (the actual cut in the top of the head for the crest was done at an angle), but I'm probably unlikely to display him with either alt head. He's an upgrade though and, as expected, shares parts with the Archie Shredder, but probably fewer than most would think. The only thing holding him back is this cape still sucks. A cheap looking material and no wire is a bummer for the "Ultimate" Shredder. At least it only cost $35, we may not get too many more figures at that price in the near future.
 
Thanks for tip about the helmets, Misfit, I'll pay close attention. I think he's my only pickup from this Haulathon, but I haven't been too inspired to go hunting. But needing to check in person gives me a reason to get out.

I get a boost of nostalgia every time I take out my toon Shredder (he's in storage until I swap out displays for the season) I remember the first time I discovered the TMNT I was knocked over by how cool it was. I went running over to my friend's house to tell him about it, and he was already halfway over to mine holding a Shredder figure. Apparently he had found it before I did. I was in awe of his figure, even though it hindsight it was a weird pick for your first TMNT figure. They were probably sold out of the brothers.

My first was Donatello and the older kids on the block bullied me because purple was a girls color. 😅

Same feeling though when I look at picks of 2.0 Shredder. I can clearly see my buddy standing behind the hedge that separated our yards pushing his figure over so I could hold it. Must have been 4-5 years old!
