NECA 2012 Turtles

I had a hard time getting into the 2012 show, at first. I was pretty turned off by the "Teen Titan"ness of it and the CG style, buuuut I started watching it after getting some of the toys, and it grew to be one of my favorite TMNT shows. It never felt like it was ashamed of what it was or what came before it, which is especially true when they have the 80s TMNT crossover later on. I thought it was much more respectful than Turtles Forever. But, yeah, it's a really enjoyable show, has some great writing and builds on things that happen in previous episodes. Most, not all, of the redesigns work for me, and it never really shys away from being weird.

It's also the most body horror-fueled TMNT iteration. Lots of disturbing things here and there.
