NECA 2012 Turtles

To be honest, Spider Bytez is way at the bottom of my list too. One of my least favorite designs of the series. I might not even get him if they make him.
 
He's at the bottom of my list too. I thought he was going to be a bigger part of the show but then he didn't really appear much. I might grab him if they did a good job but I definitely wouldn't be upset if I didn't have him.
 
He's honestly a bit of a bummer to me because I can't really think of other TMNT spider mutants and think it could make for a neat character. There's a pretty cool one in the Mutant Nation anthology series that IDW recently published though! Can't find any pics at the mo, but it was a little more horror-y than is always typical.
 
Also way down on my list would be April's dad as the bat mutant. Kirby, I think? Never liked that design either.
 
I don’t like most of the mutant designs in the show. They seemed to prioritize making them somewhat believable and thus a bit horrifying, but I prefer the old wackiness of the Mirage/Playmates stuff. I was contemplating if I’d want the show’s version of the Mutanimals on my shelf, but there’s no way I’m spending 40 bucks on a hideous Pigeon Pete and forcing myself to look at that in a daily basis.
 
Well, like the other Mutanimals mentioned in a later episode when Pete was mysteriously just not there.... "we don't talk about Pigeon Pete".
 
Yeah, besides Tiger Claw, Rahzar, Fishface, B&R, I think I'm probably good with mutants. Think I'd prefer human Baxter tbh, his flt design was gross.
 
I'd have to go back and look to be sure, but i'd get pretty much any mutant they make from this show, aside from the exceptions I already mentioned.
 
Opened the 2012 figures this weekend only for Leo's belt to break right out of the box. I didn't even think I'd touched it, certainly put no pressure on it.

Contacted NECA since I bought from them and they're not in UK stores. Hopefully they'll replace.

Other than that they're great figures, they look so good together. And it's so nice to have them properly scaled against Shredder.
