Ordered Ermac and Johnny from Amazon. Was waiting for Gamestop, who first puts up nothing, then eventually a dead link, then an hour later the link sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Managed to get Cage into my cart with Noob Saibot thinking I'd get the free shipping once I add Ermac. Wait 30 min to have the Ermac dead page actually work. Get everything added into cart and it doesn't qualify for free shipping. Why you may ask? Because Noob is apparently already available and Ermac and Cage are preorder.

FML.

With the release of Ermac in the classic duds, are these Ninja’s based on their MK1 alternate looks? Because he never wore the MK costume before his official debut in UMK3. Or does Todd remember the “ErrorMacro” glitch debacle as the true origin of Ermac?

I went to 3 different Gamestops today and they all had Ermac and Johnny in store for purchase. I was glad to pick them up and cancel my pre-order with BBTS.

I saw the new movie last night with my two adult sons. I think that it was easily the best Mortal Kombat movie to date. Seeing it in the theater took me back to watching the very first movie in the theater when I was in college 30 years ago. They even played that same old techno track during the end credits. That took me back! That came out at a time when I was regularly playing MK2 on Sega Genesis.

McFarlane is going to share new Mortal Kombat Klassics reveals this coming Friday, May 15th. I'm hoping for Kano and Sonya at a minimum. I'd also love a Goro, Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung.

We still need Jax, Kung Lao, Baraka, Smoke, Shang Tsung, Kintoro and the emperor to round out MK II. I guess Sonya and Kano were technically present in that game. In any case I do hope to see pipeline teases of other MK titles they plan to mine. I’d love to see an announcement of any game from MK Mythologies & onwards

Yeah... I know. I was pointing out that Jada made good Street Fighter figures and McFarlane makes bad figures that I don't want to buy, even though I do want to buy good Mortal Kombat figures.

I wonder if we will get Street Fighter movie figures...

I -think- those are separate licenses, so probably not?
And no, I don't think we've had anything from them yet based on real people. Not at 1:12 scale, at least.

I think Hasbro grabbed the license for the SF movie, didn't they? Which makes me wonder if we're going to have a Hasbro-produced Cody Rhodes or Roman Reigns on the shelves right near the Mattel WWE ones.

Todd certainly remembered how he likes to save money! But yeah, he should have the wider horizontal panels and not the tinier, diamond ones, which also would have unlocked a new torso piece for other versions of the other ninjas.
