ML Preorders and Fanstreams -

I knew it would be more expensive than typical, but I did not think it would be that high.

Pulse is charging $60.

Don't know if "mostly new" is right - it has some new pieces with a re-used glider, accessories (but two pumpkin bombs this time!) and explosion effect.

Funny Photoshop fail on his leg.

I never order from Pulse, solely 'cuz once the figures arrive from China they prioritize sending out BBTS and EE's allotments before fulfilling their own orders 😅 I get why they do it but it feels silly to get your stuff later than other people when you ordered directly off Hasbro's own website!

Comparing photos though, it looks like both Dafoe Goblins have pretty unique sculpts (I don't have either in hand though, tbf)! The only similar parts I see are the hands, maaaybe the shoulders and the masked head? Seems like every other piece is uniquely tooled to have the NWH "upgrades" to the suit 😄

Can you imagine how bad the price is going to be on the yearly oversized figure is going to be if HasBro is so far off on pricing for recent figures? Guess we will find out shortly

Egads. 60 bucks for… well, ANY Marvel Legend is a no thank you from me. That Goblin will never be mine and Im ok with that.

You know what I remember about the 2 Foom waves? The price was higher. Weren’t they all $15 instead of the usual $10? They were all kinda big but it was a lot to swallow. I passed on every one of them, too expensive, not very good anyway, even though I thought Wendigo looked great.

Don't expect one this year.

They have had extras for most of the MTO, that went on sale after they started shipping. I'd expect some to be made available on Pulse.

I'm really looking forward to the anti-hasbro backlash when the DC collector line pricing gets announced.

My dude, there's been an anti-hasbro backlash on this here internet thingie since the internet was first invented.

Ain't nothin' new to them. We'll vent, they'll just shrug, and it'll be right back to business as usual.

Remains to be seen of course, but I don't expect it to be that different based on what we've seen from the WWE and MOTU lines. The regular figures will likely in the high 20s and the "Ultimate" edition versions in the high 30s. Competition should be good for collectors though, nonetheless.

I don't buy WWE figures often but I believe the DC Core stuff is being priced slightly higher than the similar basic WWE figures. Unless those have also increased and I haven't noticed.

Also please remember that McF initially came out at a lower price point in year one of his DC line, but certainly didn't stay there.

Mattel will likely benefit from being the new hotness for a short time and then people will inevitably start hating on them again too.

If Mattel can come in at $24.99 for the collector figures, it’ll send out shockwaves. A seismic shift in the marketplace so to speak. If there is a third tier, priced at say $36.99 with lots of extras, that’ll even put Mafex and Mezco on their heels a little bit.
